    Dear Sir/Madam,

    With all due respect, I would like to highlight my concern with respect to my claim
    pending since more than a year now under Claim No.: 310300/31/07/01/90000699 Srl.
    No.: 1

    Twice In last one year I personally visited the Bombay Life Building office of "The
    New India Assurance Company Limited". First time was last year in the month of May
    and I was asked to go home and given assurance that the cheque would reach my home
    address by post.
    This year I again visited the same office and met the same gentleman [Mr. Malhotra]
    and this time I was told that the duplicates have been resubmitted [as got delayed;
    beyond my comprehension?] and now no formalities are required and was again advised
    to wait for the cheque by post; which never arrived.

    Now, I am in receipt of two identical letters [original & reminder - dated 24th Feb
    & 5th March 2009] sent to my home address by your office [Cc to Monika Arora,
    Saraswati Vihar, Delhi] and the content of the letters is very shocking and
    disappointing.

    I have been asked to submit the following for processing my application and that
    after a gap of 1 calendar year:

    1 Claim form duly completed
    2 Driving license
    3 RC book
    4 Previous Insurance policy with no claim bonus certificate

    Now, can someone help me understand the reason (s), motive and intent of such
    communication? I do not see any value in filling up the form again; where is the
    original form? If misplaced, am I going to suffer for other people’s incompetence or
    lack of intent? Who is responsible for this delay; is this how customer service
    industry functions?
    How was survey done? Who and on what basis was my claim give go-ahead as it was then
    only that “Samara Hyundai” repaired my Car?
    All documents were submitted and I have seen them myself in a file in your office!!!
    I also wrote down my bank account number on the same file; as advised by Mr.
    Malhotra!!!


    All this has caused me great mental trauma and I do not see any value in visiting
    your office [taking leave from my work] again until a responsible person from your
    organization demonstrates positive intent. I am open to submit documents; but the
    way this case has taken shape...., I have lost trust in the functioning of this
    particular department and hence given birth to this e-mail which will save me my
    valuable time and pain.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am in receipt of an unsigned letter, as such unauthentic & invalid, from Sr./ Div.
    Manager dated 18 March 2009; wherein it has emphatically been remarked that the
    relevant file is not possible to be kept open for indefinite period of time and in
    case nothing is heard within seven days of receipt of this letter, it shall be
    presumed that you are not interested in claiming from us and we shall close the
    relevant file.

    With all due respects, I have already highlighted my concern with respect to my
    claim pending since more than a year now under Claim No.: 310300/31/07/01/90000699
    Srl. No.: 1; through E-mail dated 17 march 2009, with a copy by courier service in
    confirmation.

    I have been directed to submit all relevant papers again in abinitio after lapse of
    more than a year, when all these documents stand submitted which I have also seen
    myself in a file in your office. I also wrote down my bank account number on the
    same file; as advised by Mr. P.K.Malhotra of your office!!! The contents of this
    unsigned letter, therefore, is bereft of jurisprudence and seems prima-facie case of
    mala-fide intentions.

    All this has caused me great mental trauma and I do not see any purpose in visiting
    your office again until a responsible person from your organization demonstrates
    positive intent. I am open to submit documents; but the way your office has
    responded, I have lost trust in the functioning of this particular department.

    Default Motor Insurance - Complaint

    This is Jones Dasan. Please look into my grievance as its been over 15 months that am trying to sort out my insurance, but unfortunately heading no where. Your company has been off no help at all, I have tried calling on each and every no. that I have found on the website, but have not got anywhere, most of the time the phone just keeps ringing or people just keep transferring my calls or just hang up on me.

    My vehicle –Hyundai Santro No. MH 43R 8551 was stolen on 28th May'08, I have been following up on the insurance since then, there was a delay from my end in submitting the claim as the showroom from where I had brought the car misled me with the process, then i did manage to submit the claim after a month, there was again a delay of 3 months as Mr Ranjan Bhosale from your company did collect my documents but then met with an accident due to which he has not submitted any of my documents, there was also a delay of around 2 months in getting the final FIR, not its been more than 3 months that i have submitted all my documents but still have no news as to when would I be getting my insurance money. I have been regularly been paying my bank installments for the last 15 months. I have been calling up Sunil (9833218902) to follow up on the status of my claim, he just says that he will call me back but always has a reason for not doing it, and to add to it he always has a reason for not giving me a status for the insurance claim, I need some serious help from someone who can get this sorted for me.
    Looking forward to a positive reply from your end.

    This is to bring to your notice that I Mr. R. Soundarajan son of S.M. Ramalingam residing at No:18 V.V Koil Lane Choolai Chennai - 600112, purchased from Poorvika Mobiles Pvt Ltd., ch-12 Daed: 04.10.10 Invoice No:1656 When i was travelling by bus my mobile as been pick pockegted Model: Nokia 5233. IMEI:353783049702024. Battery No: 32220670573, Charger No:33950675396 on 19.11.2010 night at 8pm. I have launcehd a complaint in G1 Police Station (Vepery Chennai- 600007.) FIR No:260/CSR/G1X/10. Dated:20.11.2010 repoting the theft of my mobile as per rules they have issued me a Non Tracable Certificate on 20.11.2010. I have reported the matter to the united India Assurance Company Ltd., and they have not taken necessary action there is no response at all. I request u to look in to the matter at the earliest and satisfy my necessary requirement if not ill be constrained to take necessary and legal action. Thanks and hope to be obliged.
