    This is with reference to your email dated February 13, 2009 regarding the
    above mentioned policy.



    We are extremely concerned about the matter and would like to offer our
    sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. It is our constant
    endeavor to provide the highest level of service to our clients and we
    assure you that we will look into our internal processes so that in future,
    such an incident does not recur.



    As desired by you, we have arranged to cancel the policy and refund the
    premium paid towards the above-mentioned policy. The refund cheque will be
    dispatched to you within seven working days. The policy stands cancelled and
    the contract is null and void.

    Hello sir/Madam,



    I have already registered in your account and post the complaint, only for
    my satisfaction again i am sending this mail to you. I have given the
    complaint to company number of items also i had the phone conversation with
    the concern people of company eventhough they are not responding to the my
    complaint and they keep on debiting the amount from my account. For the
    evidence you can see the mails conversation with the company people. The
    below passage will give the brief information for last two months.





    I sayeed.shaik made a policy in TATA_AIG life insurance company. One their
    agent came to my house explained me about their policy that "this is pension
    policy and i will get 4500 to 5000 per month after completion of 10 years
    policy". I gave a cheque of 1000/- to initiate the policy. I cleared that my
    instalments will be through cheques only. He agreed for that condition. He
    took so many signs from me saying that formalities. After one month i got
    document. Since i am working person i couldn't make a time to read the total
    policy. After 2 weeks i found that the policy is not at all satisfying the
    agent words. Immediately i called the customer care explaining the same, i
    got negligence answer. After one week i got a confirmation call from the
    custmercare, i told her to cancel the policy. All this incidents were
    happened within the free look period only. Because of this reason i thought
    that policy might have cancelled.


    I waited for 1 week then i put complaint mail on 7 th Jan stating the same
    problem and to cancel policy. immediately after two days i got message to
    make my account adequately fund for renewal of premium. I was shocked to
    hear that without my permission how these people able to access the ECS. I
    immediately i put the mail not to access the ECS. Even after my complaint
    they debited amount of 1000/- my account it means that they are enforcing me
    to continue the policy.



    You can see the all the complaints below mails. I went to their
    main branch on 9th feb in life style regarding my cancellation no one is
    responded properly. Again they debited 1000/- from my account for the month
    of feb renewal. So Please do the needful things so that no other customer
    should suffer from this fraud policy.



    I apologize if i send this mail to non concern person. Please suggest on the
    same. I hope you do the best in my favour.

    We refer to your email dated January 7, 2009 regarding the above mentioned
    policy.



    We thank you for bringing this matter to our notice and assure you that
    necessary action will be taken in this regard. We regret any inconvenience
    caused to you.



    However, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accede to your
    request of refunding the premium paid by you against your policy, as the
    policy has past the 'Free-look' period. As per our records, the policy was
    dispatched on December 15, 2009 and the request to cancel the policy was
    received by us on January 7, 2009, 2008 beyond the 15 days free look period.
    We therefore would not be in a position to process the request.



    We assure you that the provisions are in accordance with the IRDA
    regulations (Protection of Policyholders' Interests). The relevant portion
    is reproduced here for your ready reference....

    "A policyholder has a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the
    policy document to review the terms and conditions of the policy and where
    the insured disagrees to any of those terms or conditions, he has the option
    to return the policy stating the reasons for his objection, when he shall be
    entitled to a refund of the premium paid, subject only to a deduction of a
    proportionate risk premium for the period on cover and the expenses incurred
    by the insurer on medical examination of the proposer and stamp duty
    charges"

    As desired by you we have deactivated the Electronic Clearing Services (ECS)
    from your policy. The policy is Inforce and paid upto February 11, 2009. We
    are in process of refunding the amount of Rs. 1000/- as the amount was
    erroneously debited from your account on January 11, 2009. We apologize for
    the inconvenience caused.

    Also, the policy details are mentioned in the policy contract sent to you.
    We request you to refer the same for any further clarifications. However we
    request you to reconsider your decision of discontinuing the policy and
    continue paying premiums regularly to reap the benefits from the policy.



    We value your relationship with us and look forward to your continued
    patronage.

    Hello,



    As i given somanny comPlaints regarding my policy to cancel even though you
    people again raising the ECS debit in my account.Today i went to the
    hyderabd office with my document to cancel the policy i found no responsible
    person overthere. One week before only i got call from mumbia(manasa joshi)
    stating that they are going to cancel the policy and refund money.I don't
    understand what policy you are following to cancel the policy and cheating
    the customer.If this is to be continued i have to a take hasty decision on
    you people.

    Dear sir,



    I was ill for last one week so i couldn't make time to send the reminder.
    Still this complaint is not resolved. I said not to raise the debit in my
    account,eventhough you people debited 1000/- from my account. I got a call
    from the Mumbai branch that they are into the investigation though I
    explained clearly that I didn't opted for the EC you debited through EC
    only. If this is continued, I will be going to put case on you people in
    civil court. So please kindly response to this and refund the money to my
    account as soon as possible.

    I sayyad.shaik enrolled just 30 days back. Execute was sent by you people
    upon my phone call.He explained me about the pension plan stating that i
    would get the amount Rs around 4900 per month immediately after the
    completion of my policy (i.e 15 years). But i found no where it has
    mentioned in the document. Please don't raise the debit of premium from my
    account until my complaint is clarified. I don't want to continue with this
    policy and please refund the money back to my account as you mentioned.
    Please take this as high importance issue and do the needful things as soon
    as possible.

    Default I would like to know the exact deposited amount in my policy.

    Please sir help me to let me know what i want to know that how much money i have deposited in my policy and the date of last premium.

    Question Renewal notice

    Some of the insurance issues renewal notices of vehicle insurance but they have not mention inforamtion regarding ncb or idv i.e. Percentage of ncb or our vehicle idv they have metnion only premium amount.
