CITIBANK - GOOD HEALTH POLICY not discontinued I had applied for Citibank Good health policy for my parents on my
credit card in 1999. In 2000, my parents decided not to continue with
this policy. We called the call centre, told them abt that to no
avail.
I was overseas at that time, and called their helpline from overseas
(this helpline has also been discontinued for many yrs now). Over the
years I have faxed and emailed them from 2000 till 2003 and have
spoken to their call centres numeours times. There has never been a
reply to my written request by fax or by email from Citibank.
Verbally a no of persons have spoken to my parents and confirmed that
the charges will be reversed and all is well. But that has never
happened till date.
Now, we are being called by Citibank to make payments along with huge
interest amounts.
I have a copy of my emails sent to citibank.
Pls advice , if in this case, the banking Ombudsman or the consumer
court can assist me.
Thanks for your time,
Ash
