Promantra Synergy Limited, a city-based integrated healthcare BPO company, has ranked third among the top five rookies of global outsourcing.
The company, which was launched in 2003, has also been included in the annual offshore 100 ranking of top global IT and BPO suppliers by Managing Offshore, a monthly newsletter for global outsourcing managers and neoIT, a leading offshore advisory and management firm in US.
The ranking was given on the parameters of service provider company profile, client data, operational capabilities and human resources policies.
The awards will be presented at the annual global outsourcing conference to be held in New York City on Jan 19.
Praveen Vadlamudi, CEO, Promantra Synergy Solutions Limited, told a news conference here Saturday it was a remarkable achievement for the company to figure in the list of 100 global information technology outsourcing and business process outsourcing suppliers and also third in the list of five top rookies.
"We are pleased to achieve this ranking in 16 months of our operations. We will continue to improve processes and provide high quality and cost effective services," he said.
Promantra, which expects its revenues to touch $3 million in the current fiscal year against $1.2 million last year, claims to be the only integrated long term care BPO company offering wide range of services to several reputed US healthcare companies.
The company has expertise in providing comprehensive services including accounting services, clinical processes outsourcing, medical coding, medical billing and payroll processing.
The company, which has so far invested $1 million in its two facilities in the city, plans to invest another $1 million in the next two quarters.
Its plans include setting up high-end BPO operations in Philippines in a joint venture with a local firm. The company will also increase its headcount from 150 to 300 by the end of this year.
Eighty percent of the company's revenues come from NW Bec-Corp US, a healthcare provider, which has 14 facilities in three states.
The American firm, which has a three-year contract with Promantra, claims to have been significantly benefited from this association. It also plans to outsource its managerial services.
"It may sound strange but we are seriously looking at the possibility of management process outsourcing," said Dam Adamsan, president, NW Bec-Corp.
