Dear Sir /Madam,
This is with reference to booking i did on 24th april 2011 for shimla based hotel Holiday inn for 10th june 2011 under(MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NH251551233745 )and subsequent discussion with customer care officers and email communication bearing subject of Cancellation [Reference:110426-026990]
its being given to understand that on cancellation no refund is possible.
At first place i would like to highlight that at all stages of booking for this hotel its not being notified in bolt letters that this transaction is non refundable on cancellation as like your full refund advertisements.
Secondly it seems unethical business policy which says no refund on cancellation even if its well 45 days in advance?consumer has to pay for only if he takes services.whereas in my case its just for making advance payment i have to bear losses.
when i inquired with hotel desk they confirmed me like"if i am making 30% advance payment rooms could be booked and rest i have to pay at the time of check out".so then why there are double standards with Make my trip?
Here before also i did lot many bookings for flights with Make My Trip and Other websites.And there is no such policy called NO REFUND!on advance cancellation. so its clearly seen that i am getting cheated by Make my Trip and Holiday Inn hotel subsequently.
