    I have called by the culb mahindra and their sales person had blindly lied to me and then took the booking money of 15,556 from me and also give assurance that if I did not like I can cancel it and get our money back. But after reading the terms and condition I fpound everything is wrong and a lot info they have hided from me. From the very next day of getting welcome mail I am trying to cancel but they r just ignoring us. And now they r telling booking money is non refundable after 10 days. Please BE AWARE OF CLUB MAHINDRA.

    They are in hositality industry , but their sales person are giving false satements just to sell the product and after that you will get a lot of mental harassment.

    Can I get my booking money back. On 18 th JUly they have taken booking money from my account and I am lodging complaint to them from 7 th August. I ahve not used not a single voucher and nothing at all.

    So I will not get back my money????????

    We need some more information regarding your complaint like what was the mode of payment to Club Mahindra or do you have any proof of the payment made to them? Do inform us that, have you made any written complaint to the Co., so far?

    Any premium club cant treat its members on first come first serve basis. I have been fighting with them since long for their lack of rooms, for which a member has to wait for 4-6 months. How can we plan our vacation 4-6 months in advance. I have requested them to guide me on the procedure to recall the membership. They are taking hell lot of time, delaying in responding, in a way harassing me and penalizing me for raking up the issue of long waiting time and huge shortage of inventory. For 100,000 members, 7 nights in a year for each, Club Mahindra needs at least 700,000 nights available in its inventory. All it has is around 800 rooms for members so 800*365= 292,000 nights. This is a huge huge huge gap, hence we are made to wait wait and wait. Its no better than a railway compartment. I am mulling a consumer case against them, but I can very well join the PIL move if its serious. Please let me know.

    Default Refund of Club Mahindra Membership fees,membership no.1589315

    Sir,

    Reference is requested to my visit at ClubMahindra office at Raghuleela Mall, Kandivali on 25/10/2009. I met Shri Pravin & Shri Yash Lokre. They explained few things and I made the 10% amount by credit card. On 26/10/2009 I called Mr Yash for the cancellation of the membership and refund of my money after deducting any charges. But he promised me that he will arrange my programme for USA visit nicely and assured me that the money paid towards membership will be utilized nicely and I will not have to repent.
    I have also informed about cancellation to Ms. Mansi (over phone) on 31/10/2009. but she told that I will have to follow this with Kandivali office. In between I received welcoming letter from Shri Ajay Nambiar along with the payment aknowledgement details in which my monthly installments shown as ECS to which I have not given consent. I told about this to Yash Lokre since I was not informed about ECS payments at the time of initial discussions but my signature was taken on a blank form without giving proper information which is surprising to me. I do not accept ECS payment of installment Rs. 3481/-

    When I approached Yash/Pravin about cancellation of the membership they promised that they will help me to plan my imminent visit to USA in April/May 2010
    In the mean time I forwarded mail to Yash informing the places of visits in USA and to give me the details of hotels so that I can stay on there on my RCI membership. Surprisingly till date, I have not received the correct information (you can see from the mails send by them to me). I called them about this but both Yash & Pravin have promised number of times to give the details as they gave me timings to visit my house but they have never visited my house or called me or sent me correct details on mail. I received membership contract documents in which number of condition are mentioned which are one sided and favouring ClubMahindra.
    These conditions should have been explained to me before our initial payment was done not later.
    Till today in spite of their repeated promises they have neither visited me nor given me proper information
    Under such circumstances I am very much distressed by this breach of trust and I therefore sincerely request you to cancel my membership and refund my hard earned money after deducting processing fees if any.
    Please do the needful and oblige.

    Default Refund of Membership fees,membership no.1589315

    Sir,

    Reference is requested to mail dated 3/12/2009 regarding cancellation of membership no 1589315 and refund of money for reasons stated there in. On the same day I spoke to Ms Mansi on phone & she promised to process the matter since I expressed my willingness to cancel the membership immediately on the 3rd day. But Shri Pravin & Shri Yash Lokre from Kandivali office only promised for best advise for booking of holiday in U.S. but all in vain. Lastly I mailed for cancellation of membership & also sent letter by courier to Kandivali office & also handed over the hard copy of mail to Shri Pravin Hatiram.

    Today on 13/12/2009, surprisingly I received SMS informing about return of ESCS by HSBC bank.

    It is mental torture & harassment to me as I was eagerly waiting for refund of initial amount paid to Club Mahindra.

    So I once again request you to refund me my membership amount immediately and stop such wrong deeds of further deduction of my installment.

    Default False Commitment and fraud by Club Mahindra

    Sir,

    My membership id is 1477403. I had got my membership conifrmed from Club Mahindra on May 19, 2009 which included a 2yr RCI (Gold Crown) membership free, Rs.15000/- shopping voucher, 3 weeks of holiday with RCI and 1 bonus week of holiday in India along with complimentary food coupons. Out of the entire list of promises i have just received the food coupons worth Rs.5000/-. At the time of taking the membership i had paid an enrollment fee of Rs.345341/- as i was planning a trip abroad in the month of July, 2009. I was promised by their Sales Maanger - Mr. Santosh that i will receive the RCI membership withing 15 days of my membership conifmration and i could use the RCI hotels for my trip and save money. This meant that my stay would be taken care through RCI membership and i would be saving a good amount by enrolling for Club Mahindra. I kept following up for my RCI membership but never got any positive response. Till date i do not have my RCI membership. I have even spoken to the senior staff at Club Mahindra to cancel my membership and refund of money as what was promised to me didn't happne and i landed up spending around Rs.70000/- towards my stay during my trip in July, 2009. I decided to withdraw my membership and asked for a refund of the amount paid to Club Mahindra but till date there has been no positive response. I have written emails to them recently too but haven't got any reply from them for last 13 days. CLub Mahindra really sucks and i have ended up blocking my money and wasting my time following up with them.

    It is really a mental torture & harassment as there has been no response from them. I have been waiting for refund of initial amount paid to Club Mahindra.

    I request you to help me resolve this issue with Club Mahindra and get me back my money paid to them. I have written them email for cancellation of membership but till date they represent the monthly EMI ECS to my ICICI account due to which i need to make sure that i keep no funds inmy account for their payment to be cleared.

    Respected Sir,

    (1) I Sukanraj.P.Jain Membership No.27334 when I was given membership
    by your Executive SAGAR KAJBAJE (Sr.Executive Sales) I wasn't told by
    him about the Annual Subscription Fees. He didn't even said there will
    be extra burden which we will have to face being a member in your
    club. He said except the membership fees there will be no extra
    charges that you have to bear. I have his Written Paper in which he
    showed the details and calculations of the fees of different
    memberships. There's no where written that besides this there will be
    any kind of extra charges liable to me. In the entire conversation he
    never said anything about the annual maintenance or subscription
    charges that I will have to pay. I was kept blind about all these
    charges and fees that I will have to bear for 25 Years. This is
    something which should be told firstly. Because this is not onetime
    payment but its something that I will have to pay for years and years
    of my membership. I m very much upset with your Sales Executive on his
    false techniques of selling the membership.
    When I first received your letter for annual subscription fee of
    Rs.6950.00, In reply to that I had written you a letter in which I
    requested you to please cancel my membership. I have SAGAR KAJBAJE's
    hand written two pages with me which clearly shows that he never
    mentioned anything about annual maintenance or subscription charges.
    Even after I send you the letter on 20/9/03 for the same I dint got
    any reply to that and later I received one confirmation letter of club
    mahindra signed by Sagar in that also I was not informed anything
    about annual subscription fees.

    I can't believe I am being cheated by such a big company which has
    such good goodwill in the market.

    {a}Please either cancel my membership from club mahindra & return me
    my money with interest Or

    {b}Cancel my annual maintenance or subscription fees for lifetime till
    my membership goes on.

    (2) I have not been given any property by you, which according to your
    company policy you provide to member while taking membership.
    I had requested u to make Goa {Madgoan} my property of which I had not
    received any conformation letter yet.

    (3) I was also told that on my every holiday travel wherever I go, I
    will be given TR {something Travel Vouchers Around Rs. 6000/-} totally
    free as a member. But till date I am given nothing about that from
    Club Mahindra. I also want an explanation for the same.

    (4) Whenever I had contacted for bookings in Goa in any season whether
    it's in white season {I m in white season} or blue or any season, I
    never get it. It's always that the bookings are already done. I might
    have called for the bookings many times and always I get the negative
    answer. So whats the use of being a member than.

    (5) I also had problems with my account. There was some kind of fraud
    happening on my account for which I had mailed u. The reference no.
    for the same is 149501. Though this problem is solved, But it's very
    sad to say that I m not at all happy with your membership.

    I m sorry to say but this is something very disappointing and very unprofessional.
    Till date nothing have been done with my problems.
    As in ur reply to my problem u said Ms. Madhu will revert to me regarding all my problems. She will solve all my problems and will contact me soon.
    But still she have not reverted to me regarding this problems. Infact after waiting for many days i had to finally call myself and contact her. Even after that days have been passed away and she confirmed me she will call me back and fix up an appointment so as to settle the problems.
    But she never called me back for appointments.
    And again a week back i had to called her. On her no. Ms. Prachi attended my call and confirmed a meeting with me on 18th May 2007 at 4.00pm
    just for that meeting i did not even went to office. I had cancelled all my other important works. But than yet another false commitments from club mahindra team. She did not came. Like a fool i had been waiting for her to come. This is something very very unprofessional. Even after that at around 5.00pm i called her up and than just as i expected. She started not attending my calls. I was kept on hold 3-4times when i called her. But she dint even answer my call.
    The next day on 19th May again in the morning when i called up and spoke to Ms. Prachi she just said sorry and than again told me that she will call me back in 10-15min. after checkin why Ms. Madhu dint came for the meeting. Still i waited for 1hr. and than finally called back but she dint answered my call. All i get to hear is that please hold the phone the line is being transfereed to Ms. Prachi and she wouldnot answer the call. I might have called 10-15times in 2 days. but nobody is replying back.

    I want to book a holiday to goa in club mahindra in the month of June. But when i called up for the reservation i was being told that there are some outstanding amount due in ur account because of which u wont be able to book the holidays. The amount due is only the annual maintenance amount which is hardly anything as compared to my membership fees. Also i had paid this annual maintenance for previous year and my accordingly a week holiday is still pending to be used. I have 3 unused weeks for the years for which i had paid all the fees. But still they are not booking my holiday.

    Now u people are not even solving my problems neither even booking my holidays. I dont know how many days more it will take u people to solve all my problems and if by that time than i wont get the bookings in Goa than who will be liable for that.

    I want this to be heared to the head of the department as soon as possible.
    I cant wait any more and waste my time behind calling u people again and again.
    You are not solving my problems and hecne leaving me with taking some unappropriate measures.
    Please look into this matter at your soonest.

    Hello,

    This is very very disappointing and a upseting situation. Nothing has been done about the complain that i had made years back. Even after sending many mails and making repeated calls again and again, end number of times, my complain is still been unheard and unsolved. Its been almost 3-4 years. Nor am i able to use my membership neither is my problem solved. I have paid lakhs of rupees and all in vain.??? whyyy???


    I want it to be heard and want a solution from the highest authority. I am not at all interested in discussing and repeating the whole problem over and over again.I am completely harassed with your Customer Relationship Team. I want a 1 meeting solution for this. As it is, I have wasted a lot of money and my time for this. I cant wait anymore.
    Please dont force me to take any inappropriate steps. I want things to be solved smoothly but if nothing is been done than i would be forced to. Please do the needful as soon as possible in a better way.

    Your colleagues from powai office, they callup once in a blue moon and assures me to fetch out a time out of their very very busy schedule and will have a meeting with me. Thats it... not a single call after that... are they so busy to find a time for meeting with me.???

    This is my last email, i m tired requesting you nicely, m tired waiting in anticipation, this is the last time i m requesting you... if even then i dont get any reply than just wait and watch... we will battle it out in the court... and i will make sure atleast half a page in newspaper... all those fraud holiday weeks that had been deducted from my account and than reverted back and many false promises and tall claims... all will know how you cheat ur customers and especially about your so-good customer relationship team... all the problems that i have faced and m facing you will have to pay for that all...

    Go and google and you will find thousands. Find yourself a time and visit all those websites and you will find thousands of complaints and cheating cases against you.
    there are hardly few people who knows about all this... i will make sure a big article in newspaper with all this complaints attached so the next time if anyone plans to buy they will think hundred times...

    I would try to put my experience in short. I paid an initial 10% down payment of Rs. 15,564.00 and opted for 12 EMIs. This happened during the first week of Feb '10. My EMIs were to start from 10th March '10. However, by 20th of Feb '10, I thought I should pay 50% down payment and opt for 60 interest free EMIs. When I informed this to the Salt Lake City Centre unit of CM they informed me that was not possible. WHY?? They informed me that their system would not accept it!!!! So, that is a fault of your software which does not have an option for changing the initial down payment. They acknowledged it. So, what should I do? They said they would change the software and inform me when it is done. What would happen to the EMI collection? I asked. They said no money would be collected until the issue was resolved. That sounded great to me.

    However, to make it official I put up a complaint with the member relations. Then a lady named Sneha Mukherjee called me up and informed me that according to Rules and Regulations of CM Holidays, the initial down payment amount could not be changed (even well before start of EMI collection as well as membership!!!). At this point, I went through all the documents given to me by CM, but found nowhere any such clause. I again mailed that lady Sneha asking her to point out where such rule was written?? At this she called me up and told me that since she was saying so using CM official member relation email ID, I had no other option but to take her words as rules of CM !!! I understood that I got into a trap. I searched the net for CM and found thousands of complaints against CM. I understood CM was basically a fraud company. I realised that such a mean company could do anything to earn some money, so I instantly issued Stop Payment instruction on my EMI collection cheque and remaining 40% down payment cheque. And, to my surprise, I found that this fraud and cheater CM company approached my bank on 10th March for EMI collection and obviously was refused. Just note what kind of cheater this CM company is !!!

    Today is 21st April, 2010. Till now those City Centre people who promised me to change their software and contact me, have not contacted me. ial

    My points are : 1) I wanted to change my initial down payment amount well before start of my EMIs. 2) The company software did not have such provision. 3) They promised me not to collect EMIs until the issue was resolved. 4) Despite promising me not to collect EMIs until the issue was resolved they fraudulantly tried to take out EMIs from my account. 5) They told me according to CM rules and regulations, the down payment amount could not be changed. When asked where it was written, they could not show me any written document. 6) I don't want to be a member of such fraud company any longer. I want my money back.

    I think it's time for Club Mahindra to wind up their business. I have seen people taking initiatives to make people aware of this organization. Recently I received a very long list of email chain sent to hundreds of people. I'm sure Club Mahindra will soon come in newspapers, blogs, television and all possible medium of communication.

    Let us form a group of such members and make aware of Government by gathering on places like India Gate, Gateway of India or whichever you think is better place to make impact, with hoardings and banners.

    Get the printout from offices and post them in your vicinity, on roads and important places.

    We cannot always sit and wait for someone to come to get out of this shit.

    Enough is enough. Lets do something for betterment of our society.

    I'm sure somebody from Club Mahindra will read this post. And I assure him/her, this is not a warning. These are things going to be executed soon.

    I read some of us aggravated sufferers suggesting burning offices of Club Mahindra, which is not quiet intelligent thought but Club Mahindra should feel the hot
