This is a discussion on PIL against Club Mahindra within the Hotels forums, part of the Food And Drink category; I was also fooled into taking a club mahindra membership due to misrepresentation of the product by their sales team..however ...

    Default Like to join a PIL against Club Mahindra

    I was also fooled into taking a club mahindra membership due to misrepresentation of the product by their sales team..however due to difficulty in making payments and from feedback from friends who have memberships ( I can get more to join this PIL) and blogs I decided to discontinue.. I also visited their property in simla Mashobra on a gift voucher ( given to me during the sales) and found their location terrible, staff stuffy and their food just passable and so I informed them of this in November and spoke to their representatives to cancel my membership.. however I see that they are still extracting emi's from my account till february 2011 and have banked for March as well.. till date I have paid them in excess of 95000 and recieved a sony bravia in return.. I am a friend of a senior manager of theirs...Mr. Arun Khanna and requested him to help but to no avail...I would like to join a PIL to recover my unused money and expose their scam

    Default Club mahindra frustration

    Dear sir
    i had applied for club mahindra membership in april2010 .having paid them an advance of 25000
    due to personal reasons i wished to cancel it.
    Now its been a year but they are not yet refunding my money which according to their policy is to be done in 30 days.
    Kindly do tell me how do i get my money back

    I have become member of RGBC after thorough research !
    I have done lot of caluculation and estmation on both these Mahindra and RGBC !
    This is my understanding !
    I will feel happy if it helps any one
    RGBC membership-3000 per day of stay
    Mahindra-5000 per day of stay
    for 1bhk in RGBC and studio in Mahindra !
    may vary inflation ! go up
    if you buy additional weeks.then the above prices will come down
    There is no cheating in both the resorts.
    Sales people try to give as less info to get their incentives.
    first hour they told me stories and I deided to take RGBC
    i checked all the agreement forms and other documents for 2-3 hours.
    Then i started negotiating price and some relief and i paid !
    Most people complainig here never stayed in these resorts or planned in hurry !
    Yes for 7 days stay you shoul plan atleast3-6 months in advance.
    Many times i checked availability of rooms in peak period also.
    You buy a TV by paying 50k !
    Will you feel cheated if your not able to watch it due to ur busy schedules ? for4-5 years

    Please cancel my membership and refund the full amount paid by me which is Rs. 25000 as early as possible. (Excluding the interest part for 2 emi which is been paid)
    Please charge me any cancellation fees if any and refund the remaining amount.
    As per cancellation policy given in your membership rules i need to submit this request within 30 days of my enrolment, but I was been informed by Jasmin your sales manager (no. 9769890947) when I contacted him on 4 June and he said cancellation is not possible and had once again spoken with your executive on 40006465 and they said I won’t get any refund ( on 10 June, if they could hold told me about policy I would have written this mail on 10 June itself), today I went through all the policy document and I could check the 30 days time of cancellation process.
    Please stop my EMI payment (standing instruction) as well on the receipt of this mail.

    Please clarify that, for the cancellation of Membership, My mail is sufficient or i need to give you a written cancellation application.

    Sales person visited to my office: - Dev Chheda (Sr. Business development Manager, Mobile no. 9004683143) They told be that I will receive Rs 30,000 travel voucher or gift voucher.

    I hope some action needs to be taken against the sales executive who promise lot of offer during enrollment and cannot delivered any of them.

    Club Mahindra refund
    I have three issues.
    1. Sales executive has promised me air travel voucher of INR 35,000 which I have not received yet.
    2. During introduction I had asked for cancelliation policy, but they said you can transfer your membership but you can't get refund as there is no refund policy, I got to know about refund policy when I myself when through all the documents and its say refund is possible but if its applied within 30 days of payment.
    3. My first emi was supposed to be paid from Aug 2011, instead it went on July 2011, for this I had follow up with sales executive for around 1 month but nothing happen.

    I still have not received any positive reply. Please refund my amount. I just want to cancel, club mahindra membership.

    Default i did mistake by took membership in Club Mahindra

    I strongly recommended every one, don not take the membership of Club Mahindra
    Until you join they try to promise a lot, once became a member you should have to run behind them. All the free locations they mentioned are not in good locality & not good to stay. Customer support is worst, don't experience elsewhere. The sales people tell many which are reflecting in the bond, once you signed, they don’t listen anything, not allowed to cancel/ reduce it. Don't believe the them simple. Do not go for any mercy with customer people & take membership. They are targeting the couple & looting.

    Their is no proper coordination between sales team and management people. The customer team people behaving very rude & don't respond on call. Their target is to cheat people only. There is no customer oriented service at all.


    Be careful, don’t be chit like us.

    First time i did big mistake by taking the membership in Club Mahindra!

    Be Careful, don't relieve their words by simply.

    Default regarding the cancellation of my membership

    sir,
    i have informed the club mahendra authorities through email on 3rd 0f December regarding my wish to cancel my membership.i am sorry to state even after my advance information they deducted 7000 rupees from my account.my question is even after my advance information why they deduct the amount.Initially i have paid rs 27000 and i have paid 3 installments of rs 7000. they assured me that i will be getting one sony lcd tv.. Till date i havent received the tv. further i have not used any of their product by means of using the holiday resorts ect.please do the needful so that i can get rid of these issues.
