On 7 th October 2011, I wrote a mail to Surf India (Mr Vineet and Mr Sandeep) and also had several telecons before buying their packages which were advertised through their mail. The package cost was Rs 6995 each and I was interested in travelling with my family of 8 adults. It was a package of 6 nights/7 days. Therefore based on their mail revert I purchased the packages online.

The promises made before buying the package were as follows:
1) All 8 pax can travel together at the selected place, resort and dates except for black out dates from 20 th December 2011 to 7 th January 2012.
2) Room Category would be deluxe with 1 double bedroom, living room with sofa cum bed and partial kitchen.
3) No hidden charges except Rs 6995 for the package plus Rs 750 as processing fees.
4) List of resorts given and the choice of the resort, place, dates would be accepted from the three choices given.

All the above commitments were made in written by mail by surf india and through telecon. Only after the mail was sent the packages were purchased by me on 7 th October 2011. Two packages were purchased for 8 pax @ Rs 6995 each. An online payment was made by fund transfer - Transactions ids 10220316 and 10220323.

After the payment was made the responses stopped and there was no after sales service given. On 25 th October 2011, I sent my Booking forms alongwith the Booking Invoice to One Touch Solutions India Pvt Ltd, Noida expressing my choice of dates, place and resort well in advance. After constantly following up on telecons and mails no revert were received for the bookings. All the efforts went in vain.

The commitments failed during the booking and not much could be done despite of having all written communications. All the telecons were even briefed in my mails but surf india did not respond. Thereafter after repeated follow ups they offered me the resorts not listed in their list and of lowest category. I expressed my choice of change in the dates but wanting the same place and resort for which I was willing to wait for months. From October to July, they are unable to book the resort and also do not respond to mails or telecons. This clearly shows both the companies to be fraud. The numbers of Surf India is out of reach and now they have started selling the packages with a new company name - Great India Holidays where my booking ids nowhere exist. I even approached All India Consumer Protection Committee and sent a notice via registered post to One touch solutions, Noida, Ref : AICPC/20/2012-2013 dated 3/4/2012 on 17/4/2012 but no revert has been received and neither have they presented their representatives at the committees office as asked for.

There are lots of employees and customers complaint against the company for frauds committed. It compelled to fight even more further to compensate for the harassment caused by the companies and recover my cost in cash plus kind.

I even would request other customers to stay away from companies life surf india, one touch solutions and great india offers etc who fraudulently extract consumers money and safeguard themselves even against the law of the country.
