We had our baby born in Jaipur Golden hospital on1 feb,2012. My wife was admitted there for 4 days as it was a cesarian case.
This was our first visit to this hospital and surely the last.

we had to face below dreadful situations in those 4 days :

1. Wrong medicine given to infant : My 1 day old infant was given the wrong medicine, the medicine being given to adults was given ta 1 day old baby because of which the baby remained completely restless in pain for the whole day.
2. Food Problem to the patient : My wife was on liquid diet, although the dieticians used to come twice a day, but one day in the dinner Limca was being given because nothing else was not available.
3. Payment Staff Negligience :We had medical insurance so initial approval request was being sent to the insurance company for cashless case. The insurance replied that if its a cesarian case then cashless will not take place. But the hard working hospital staff were too busy to read this . and so I was unaware of it.
At the time of discharge I had to go to different sections to send the final bill to the insurance company so that payment could be made and we get the discharge. Although its the hospital staff job, but I had to co-ordinate amongst them and it took 5 hours before the final bill could be sent
Then after another 2 hours, I got the call from the company that as they have informed before it will not be cashless. So I suddenly had to arrange 50000 cash to get the discharge. The discharge that could have been done in 15-20 mins, took more than 8 hours.
4. Poor Infrastructure : The wards, furniture, rooms are too old and damaged for a hospital that charges this much.

What happened to us cannot be reverted back, but I want others to get aware about these things before they get fooled as we did
