My 14 days child was shown to Dr. Khade in Pune at his hospital in Pune on F C Road for general check up as per his request. After check up he said she is fine and completely healthy. But going further he talked very rubish when we informed him that the child experiences hiccups at least twice a day. To which he could have answered calmly and would have spoken in mild tone considering the patient's mother's presence and the normal condition of baby. Dr. Khade directly started accusing the mother saying its her sheer neglegence on her part and thats why the child is suffering. Going further he said he has seen 2-3 lethal cases due to hiccups (which even no one understand why he mentioned.) The whole episode caused lot of mental torture to our family, due to lack of responsible behaviour of so called child specialist.

The doctors now a days need to be more responsible towards talking to patients and their relatives. Talking such rubish things about small children by a paediatrician is absolutely unprofessional and causes mental torture for the parents.

Such doctors should immediately stop their practice and stop torturing parents if they can not act responsibly.
