My father got admitted to the kanhaiya lal hospital at sachendi, kanpur for stone removal from gall bladder. Hospital told that the cost would be 12500. We paid 10000 in advance. after the a week father got discharged after paying 9000 more that what was communicated. No proper medical bills and discharge summary and other case details were provided.

We took this matter with the hospital doctor in charge many times and then bills and summary was given. We found that the bills were not proper and they have charged higher than MRP. Again it took many visit to convince the doctor in charge and they agreed that there are mistakes from their side. We asked to make the proper bills. The again made the bills but this time they added few more medicines. They said that these were not included in the earlier bill. Even with this addition also we found that if the MRP is taken then also we should get the refund. We asked them for refund. They said they cant give the refund but they will make the bill for the said amount. We didnt accept their this logic.

They are now refusing to refund the amount which they have charged more than the actual.

Please suggest how to approach the cunsumer forum on this matter. what is the procedure and fees and the expected time of resolution. What should be the claim amount and other expenses to be claimed.
