Hi,
My brother 28yrs old was diagnosed with TB by Dr Prem Narayana from Secunderabad Nursing Home, W.Marredpally.
During our first visit on 23rd A Dr Prem Narayana has asked us to admit my brother for 3-5 days and for initial checkup. He as prescribed medicine for the treatment which he has to take for 6 months and asked to visit after 10 days. My brother was doing ok for almost25 days from the day of our initial visit. On 23rd May we went to 2nd visit to hospital. There my brother was given streptomycin and he came home. Immediatly after reaching home he complained about dizziness, we called up hospital and we were told not to worry. We were advised to give streptomycin for 8 days. But after 3 injection he complained again about dizziness and breathlessness, it was around 1AM. Immediately we rushed to hospital there we were again told not to worry and asked us to consult the doctor next day. We came next day and my brother was admitted and gave streptomycin.
from that day he slowly started to stutter for sometime in the morning hrs but doctors then also said nothing to worry. after 7 days of injection on the hospital nurse gave injection through the veins on his forehand and from that day till today he is not able to speak and talk.
Hospital people then bought pulmonary specialist Dr Ramana Prasad, After keeping my brother in almost 10days in the hospital Dr Ramana Prasad told that my brother lungs are 90% damaged and we cant do anything now. Then we immedialty rushed to Yashoda hospital.
Due to the wrong treatment at Secunderabad Nursing Home by Dr Prem Narayana and Dr Ramana Prasad my brother almost lost his life. He still cant talk and walk on his own. Its been almost 6 months now and he has been admitted in Yashoda hospital 4 times for treatment. He was kept on ventilator twice. we had to incurred 10-11 lac of expenditure including treatment in both Yashoda and Secunderabad Nursing Home.

Could you please let us know can we file a case against the doctor and Secunderabad Nursing Home management for wrong treatment ?

Thanks in advance,
Mohan Krishna
