Sir/Madam,
I am a State Govt. Employee working in Finance dept. I need some guidance from you in case of my sons medical bill.
My wife delivered a baby on 25.11.08 and as the baby was in premature stage he was sent in Other Private Hospital i.e.Bhide Hospital. Navi Peth, Pune for further treament as an emergency case. He was admitted in NICU and treated for a week and then discharged after recovery. The total bill of the hospital was Rs.15054/- (with medicines). As I am a State Govt. Employee, I have the right to claim for reimbursement of the expenses to Govt. But for this, the bill has to be prepared in the format prescribed by the State Govt. and has to be certified/signed by the Medical Officer of the Hospital where treatment is taken. Hence I prepared the Reimbursement bill in the prescribed format and went to the Hospital to get it signed. But the concerned Medical Officer refused to sign the bill & said that no State Govt. claims are certified in their hospital. I requested her but she did not respond properly & totally refused to sign.
Now that I have made all the expenses & have paid all the bill, still I am not able to reimburse my bill. What is the problem of the Hospital to certify the expenses which I have done. I am just not able to figure it out.

Hence I request you to guide me into this problem, because I have the right to claim for the reimbursement of the expenses made by me.
