I would like to highlight story of GROSS ERROR and TRUE NEGLIGEANCE done from a very good reputed Hospital in Bangalore St. MARTHAS HOSPITAL
My wife had delivered a girl baby on 06/07/2004 at 7:47 PM at St Marthas Hospital Bangalore mode of Delivery was C-Section .Later she got discharged healthily after 4 - 5 days.
After 1 week i went and collected my wife’s Discharge Summary .
Again after 4 1/2 years on 22/12/2008 My wife had delivered a boy baby at 12:17 PM at St Marthas Hospital Bangalore mode of Delivery was C-Section at this time there were some complications where she had required blood and later she recovered very well and got discharged.
After 1 week i went and collected my wife’s Discharge Summary
Here i would like to know that how can a institution like St Marthas Hospital Bangalore certifies that my wife’s blood group is B+ve in the First discharge summary report
The same St. Marthas Hospital Bangalore certifies that my wife’s blood group is O+ve in the Second discharge summary report
My question is it Trueeeee that for every 4 years our blood group will be changing as certified by St. Marthas Hospital Bangalore .
Here i would like to say u that how St. Marthas Hospital came to know my wife’s blood group is O+ve not B+ve
My wife had delivered a boy baby on 22/12/2008 at 12:17 PM at St Marthas Hospital Bangalore mode of Delivery was C-Section . After 3-4 hrs of delivery she started bleeding heavily and the doctor who was in charge told us that my wife requires blood and make arrange of blood for which they gave my wife’s blood sample and a Blood transfusion request form mentioned to the RASHTROTTHANA BLOOD BANK, BANGALORE. the doctor who was incharge had requested packed cells of B+ve blood in the request form .
I my self took the Blood transfusion request form and blood samples to the above mentioned blood bank for cross matching.
When the blood bank cross matched the blood sample the sample showed O+ve blood group the blood bank people refused to give O+ve blood as the request was for B+ve blood.
Again i came to the hospital and told the incharge nurse that this sample is O+ve not B+ve,but they told that my wife post medical reports shows B+ve. again they took blood sample and did a grouping test where there it showed O+ve. they them selves were surprised how this could have been happened in our institution.
For god’s grace my wife recovered with out any transfusion of blood .
my issue is that as u know better that even if ONE drop of B+ve Blood was given to my wife what would have been happened u people know better.
So I am planning to sue St Marthas Hospital Bangalore for GROSS ERROR and TRUE NEGLIGEANCE ,which would may even caused damage to my wife’s life and which would have hampered the future of my kids throught their lives ( Daughter 4 1/2 years and son 1day as on this incident took place )
So my humble request is that if u can give me the valuable suggestion from u r side regarding this compliant I will be very thankful to you .
NOTE: ALL THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS ARE THERE WITH ME

Hello,
If you have the papers then you can easily file the case against the hospital.
Wrong diagnosis laboratory report - But no proof that the consumer suffered any loss due to wrong laboratory report - Hence nominal compensation awarded -- Enhancement refused in appel.
