Recently I had been admitted to the KEM Hospital, Pune.
Though I was having Cashless Hospitalization card, I was asked for Rs. 5000 as deposit at the time of admission.
I had paid that amount at the time of admission as no other option.
I was discharged from Hospital after 15 days and the Bill has come up as Rs. 58921.00 which contain establishment charges - Rs. 2526.00 which are charged as 5% of the total medical bill.
The bill amount leaving establishment charges have been settled by insurance company.
When I have asked my deposit back then I was again asked for the establishment charges of Rs. 2526.00 which are 5% of total medical bill and when I settle all these things then only I will get my deposit back.
I have 2 questions here --
1) When I was having cashless hospitalization form why I was asked for deposit which is against Third Party Settlement Rules.
When I personally met medical officer in Hospital I was answered as - 'We do admit ICU patients without taking deposits. Do hospital people want every patient to be serious to be admitted to ICU not to take deposits.
2) Regarding Establishment charges - I would like to know whether any hospital is having such right to take establishment charges or so what is the limit.
When I have asked the same question - I have got the answer - 'Other hospitals are taking 10% or even more. And these charges are for electricity, stationary etc.
I have already paid the room charges Rs. 1500 per day and I think it definitely include electricity consumption, stationary etc.
Then why I should pay extra establishment charges.
I have already paid all consultation, lab charges differently.
Could you please help me in the above case.
Can I file complaint against Hospital against these 2 issues.

We have gone through your complaint, you just send a written notice to the Chief Medical Officer of the Hospital and ask them the full information in written about the bill. Mention all the things and also attached the photo copy of the bills, give them 15-20 days for reply.
Note: Send the notice through registered post and also share the soft copy of the notice with us.

I have purchased a HP Pavilion series Laptop on January 14 2009. When I purchased it was the best product as per the company demand, so I have to pay them the best price (almost 60,000.00).
I have also paid them the warranty extension money (6,500.00) to extend the warranty for further 2 years. Each time I have never gone with any kind of negotiation with money as I expected that it will give me the best service.
But in this 1 year 3 months span I have to keep my laptop with them at least 6-7 times as various parts of the laptop stopped to work. Each time I submitted the laptop in the service station I have to keep it with them at least 7-15 days.
Yesterday the hard disk has been crashed. This has happened twice in last six months. I have lost all my data & my business is terribly down with this. I am having a tremendous loss with my business with this kind of HP service.
Now, to protect my business from any further loss - May I have any kind of help from your side, so that I can get a total replacement of the product or I can get back my money to submit this product to the company, so I can go for any other better product which will not harm my business anymore?
Cause I have contacted their service help desk & they have told that they will get back to me after 2 days that how much help they can do to me - So, after 2 days if they replaces the hard disk (which may crash & loss data in further 3 months as per the previous experience), I have to wait for another 10-15 days. In the mean time I will lose my business tremendously.
Can you please help me over the matter?

Complaint against bhatia hospital Tardeo who has not paid the deposit amount since 3 months
I m Naresh bada son of patient Ganga Bada (patient number 2118542) (Dr Rajesh chauhaan) who was admitted in your hospital for a knee replacement surgery would like to bring it to your kind attention that my deposit money which i have paid has been withheld by you over a dispute that your accounts department has with United insurance. I paid 20,000/- as deposit on 04feb 2010 and again paid 17000/- on 15feb 2010,it was been communicated to me that the deposit money will be paid with in 45 days by Mr Ranjit who handles cashless transaction, i have been following up regularly and speaking to muktesh and ranjit who assured me that i will get my refund soon, but till date i haven’t received the deposit its been more than 3 months now, and every day i have to call up and remind them about the same, I fail to understand why would the hospital not pay back my deposit when all the dues from the insurance company has been paid, or else they wont let me step out of the hospital The patient was suppose to be discharged on 15th before 12pm but due to mistake in billing the bill were duplicated and the finance procedure was done after the bill was corrected which caused us to wait and extend our stay for 1 more day and and i have to bare the cost, i complaint about the inconvenience and the negligence to the head nurse but i still had to pay for the mistake your staff has done, from day 1 I have been observing very bad service and unprofessional and rude staff, my aunt got the same operation from the same doctor for both the knees in Saifee hospital and her bills were cleared in 1months time, I have paid my deposit to Bhatia hospital and i will claim it from there only, I don’t have to talk to any other 3rd party, I request you sort out your TDS disputes and stop passing on the bug to each other, and clear it ASAP

My wife was admitted to ruby hall on 26 may 2010.At the time of admition she was suffering from labour pains.
After getting admitted to hospital not treat ment or medicine was given to her as the doctor said this a normal delivery and nothing to worry after 20 hrs thay said their are complications and give my wife some Injections for Increasing the pain.
After just two hours they said the baby have to be dilevired through section C.
My complaint is why their was no treatment given by the doctor for 20 hours.
Also the doctor has not given or treated after the OT any attention to the patient please adivce to regester the complaint against the doctor and the hospital.

ICIC bank card appreached me through phone for taking a loan in Jaunaury 2007. I agreed for the loan on phone and a cheque for Rs. 1.75 (less processing fee 2%) was sent to me by courier. Nothing was explained to me except the interest rate. In the month of April 2009 cheque payment was some how delayed (apperently through courier company, where in drop boxes are placed) by 5 days. I was charged late fee of Rs. 600 and interest charges of Rs.300, service tax Rs. 61.80 and interest on service tax at Rs. 30.82.
I spoke with the customer care and requested to reverse the charges but they refused to reverse the charges. From there onwards I stopped making the payments. Then 2 months latter ICICI banks recovery agents started chasing me. I explained them the problem and refused to pay up. However, they contiunuously started chasing me for the payment even then i refused. Finally they told me to pay up atlest the loan payment and that they said they will solve the matter with the bank. So, i started paying the installment minus lates fees, interest charges etc. I have finished payment of this loan on February 2010. Even though I have finished the loan amount bank was continuously sending the statement to me showing late fees of Rs. 15000. I kept on ignoring those staements.
Last month they have blocked my saving account which I am having with ICICI bank and they subsequently debited Rs. 8000 from my saving account on their own without any consent from me.
At the time of personal loans they never told me about these late fees, these ruthless interest charges (may be 36%) etc.
Can they block my savining account on their own?
Can they debit monies from my savining account on their own?
Also, Please advise whether i can file case with the consumer court?

Hello,
I have taken home loan from Kotak Mahindra bank in Pune. Every month the EMI gets debited from my saving account through postdated cheque. The bank debited 10980/- Rs through ECS on 6th July. I noticed this on 9th July and immediately asked for justification. I was told by the bank authorities that "It was due to some system error and the amount will be refunded through cheque to my saving account". This is totally unacceptable. Further, the bank have sanctioned excess amount of 95,000/- than the actual loan requirement. This automatically increased my EMI. Again a foolish reason is given by bank authorities that "this happened by mistake!!!!".
Can I file complain against this bank in consumer court?
airtel pune is very poor service provider .they hav been deucting money from my cell phone & sending me unnneccassary sms-- films & car tips.
i have called customer care several times but still ethy continue doing this..
& sms & ad phone calls come at awkward time like.. 5 in morning & 12 am etc etc..
even their call is chargable -- to customer care...
they r simply looting the customers..
& the lady at customer acre center disconnected my call.. & wen i called again twice the call was disconnected...
Complaint Against Nano Hub-Viman Nagar,Pune-14
My issue is in regards with the laptop that I have given for the servicing in Nano Hub on 20 july.
1. When I gave the Laptop to the person of Nano Hub, he analyzed the laptop and told that he would give me laptop within 4 days. He told me that 2000 rupees would be charged for the problem.
Servicing Charge-rs. 1200 and inverter of Screen = rs.800.
2. He did not me give me any quotation for the servicing.
3. When I visited there after 2 days, he repaired the hinges one of the part of laptop but did`nt give any confirmation about the cost. He told me to collect the laptop after two days.
4. When I called him about the Laptop after 4 days, he told me there is another problem and 6000 would be the cost.
5. We discussed about exchanging the laptop(giving my laptop and taking some other second hand laptop in turn).He agreed to the option at that time ,however started ignoring me by giving me one or other excuse continually for 4-5 days which in turn forced me toselect the option of paying him rs 6000 to repair the laptop.
6. Then He told me to collect the laptop after 4 days. When I called after 4 days ..he made some other excuse and told me wait for 2 more days. I waited for 2 days also.
7. Again I went and told me to wait for another 2 days. I waited again.
8. After 2 days when I called, he ignored the call 4-5 times, then I called by some another no.,and he picked the call and told me that after replacing some new parts, he was facing some problem and told me wait another 1 days.
9. I waited and again called him. He told me wait another 2 days. I got frustrated and told him I don’t to repair the laptop and return my laptop.
10. When I went for taking the laptop, and checked, the current state of laptop is worsened compared to the earlier stage. So I told him to give my laptop back to me in the condition tha I have given to him.
11. He asked me to wait for another 1 day.I agrees. When I called him after 1 day. He ignored my call many times and when he picked he made some excuses and told me to wait for another 2 days. I waited but after two days ,there was same condition. So I asked him to return my laptop as it is.
12. He was supposed to give me laptop today. Even if I reminded him in the morning for my laptop. He told me to come at 1 o clock for laptop. When I went there the shop was close. I called him but again he was ignoring my call so I called his friend ,he told me that my laptop was sent to Bangalore for repairing without my knowledge and told me to wait for 1 weeks. I was shocked to hear this thing.
He never called me about the status of my laptop.
He dint give me quotation about my laptop repairing cost.
When I called either he ignored my call or made some excuse about it.
When I told him that I would go to consumer court ,he told me do whatever you want.
So What I Should I do in that condition
