Urgent plea This is a plea to to raise awareness to the apathy prevailing in the Intensive Care Unit section of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. My mother, deceased, was admitted to the ICU of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as. She passed away in the very same hospital. She was administered under the care of Dr. S. Aggarwal, who unfortunately never came around to visit, much less treating her. The junior doctors doing the rounds always changed, each with his own version of the symptoms and the treatment to be administered. If the doctors were indifferent, the nurses were a step beyond callousness and sadism. My mother’s pleas for help and support fell on deaf ears and she was repeatedly hit on her hands and legs by the nurses. Such is the true account as seen and witnessed by the other patients who were in the same ward as my mother. At times of crises such as when my mother would be asphyxiated from lack of suction on the ventilator which was her sole means of life support, there was no medical authority present anywhere. No doctors/ nurses were to be found anywhere. I myself had to rush and tell them that my mother was choking to death only to be told on my face that they were busy only to return to discuss latest gossip among themselves. My mother lay in and covered by soiled and damp bedsheets. The response of the nurses on being told of the same was a retort to clean it up by myself. Such is the lack of medical attention meted out to my mother in the final few days of her life here on earth. Such apathy was shown to a lady who was fighting for her life and would probably have survived the adverse situation if she had been in an environment suited to a proper ICU. Such was the rush to get the beds vacated that the doctors and nurses tacitly and willfully let my mother pass away for lack of proper treatment. I was told by a person on the same ward that at night she used to be hit by the nurses ..when she used to keep on calling out for her daughter who has taken care of her as she could not hear at all as her eardrums had to be operated in the past.Someone whos hands and legs are tied to the bed ,who cant hear …fighting for life …god forbid if this would have happened to your own loved ones?
This is written with the sole aim of making people aware of the dangers that they might end up subjecting their loved ones to should they decide to admit them in the ICU section of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. May they not have to suffer in the eternal knowledge that their loved ones would not be separated from them because of the indifference of the caretakers of the society.

i want to register an complaint against a hospital uppal neurology hospital at rani ka bagh in Amritsar. It is against the false policy of the hospital in which they force the patients to buy the food from the hospital canteen .i don't mind to buy the food from the canteen but the standard of the food was really below standard as the curry and vegetables most of the time was with too much of spices as my patient admitted there was a patient of blood pressure so the spicy food was harmful for him and the chappatis served were half cooked and too thick to eat . When i try to speak to the doctor regarding the issue he didn't treat me well and didn't gave me any satisfactory answer at all. Moreover i can say that he was too rood to talk. So please suggest me where i can complaint against this robbery in white collar business so that the patient who come there after this experience by me can save from this kind of robbery as they charge rupees 621 for meal everyday
i cant mention the name of my patient as he was been referred there from a government hospital under some scheme so it could be possible that my patient might have to go back there again. so i don't want to pull him in any sort of trouble
thanks
regards

False Medical Report by Private Laboratory In order to that I like to mention that I had visited to Goyal's Path lab and Imaging Center, Jaipur (Rajasthan) for blood group test of my pregnant wife on October 10, 2011. According to the report the blood group of my wife was B+ (B Positive).
For the delivery of baby my wife went to her parental home which is at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
Fortunately my wife delivered a girl child on May 2, 2012 but due to some medical reasons the mode of delivery was Caesarian Section. So at that time she required a unit of blood. The Dr. gave me the blood sample and requisition form with request of one unit of B+ positive blood.
When I reached to blood bank with sample and requisition form, the pathologist of the blood bank test the blood group of the sample and he reported that it is not B positive blood as mentioned in the requisition form. So he refused to issue me the blood.
I immediately came back to hospital and shared the whole incident with Dr., then she retest the blood group and now she reports that it is AB positive.
Again I went to blood bank with requisition of one unit of AB+ blood and sample of the blood. This time again pathologist test the sample and now it was matched with the blood group mentioned on the requisition form.
In that entire incidence, she had given 4-5 times her blood for a simple blood test. Also in that serious condition of my wife I had to travel 4 times between hospital and blood bank. The blood bank was around 8 km far from the hospital so the travel time and retest the blood took around 2 hours. In that critic situation it may cause a serious problem or maternal death also.
So I requested to you for closely monitor the quality of this private laboratory and take some action on the same.

Shoes stollen at the Emergency Ward of Devy Shetty Hospital (RTIICS) My wife was suffering from Viral fever, which made her so weak that I was forced to take her to Devy Shetty Hospital, Mukundapur, Kolkata which was nearest to my residence on Friday, 13th July, 2012 at 3:00 PM. We arrived at the Emergency Ward with my Car and took her into the Ward with the help of a wheel chair. The Sewcurities standing at the Emergency door forced me to open my shoes as I was entering the Emergency Ward. It took about 30 minutes to comply with all the formalities of admission at the Emergency Ward. And when I went out of the Ward, I found that my shoes were missing. I asked the Security persons there about my shoes, when he (Mr. Sanjay Mondal) was very angry at me saying he was not there to look after my shoes. If it were a pair of shoes of just hundred rupees, it would not have bothered me. But it was for more that Rs. 2,000/-. So, I went to see the Medical Superintendent to lodge a complain. He was a very nice man to provide me with good lip service and asked his subopdinates to look after the matter on the phone. He did not ask me to write any complain about it. I went back to the emergence Ward again and was told that thye Super has asked then to find a solution. They also told me that they had CC Camera at the door of the Emergency Ward and they are told to review it for the timing between 3:00 and 3:30 PM. I came to know that this has become a common trade of the Security persons at this hospital and people do not complain about it. Today, even after three days I have not been informed of anything about the matter.
If this is how such Hospitals work, I do not see any hope at all.
Is there any solution?

Sir/Madam I visited to see a doctor of urology in opd of famous Bombay hospital
at New Marine Lines on 25 Aug where opd hours are 9 to 11 am.I got my
entry slip at 10:30 and entered to doctors room at 10:32,where I was refused
to be attended saying there were no patients in queue , so the
doctor has left as his duty is over here, and directed me for private
consultation. Then some staff member advised me to tell this story
to the sister in charge who had a bitter arguement with me blaming me for being late
and saying I have to be there before 10:30 am .Then I approached MS of the hospital
who did not listen to me at all saying it is practice here , why should doctor wait till 11 am
and directed me for pvt consultation in the same hospital .
I was really appalled and disheartened to see such type of sinking and filthy culture in prestigious
Bombay hospital where there is not value for time

Prayag hospital in noida I had one of my relative admitted in the ICU for a day.I was surprised by behaviour and attitude of all the doctors starting from Emergency ward to ICU.The owner itself Dr. S.P. Singh is a big fraud and find various ways to extort money in the name of treatment. The doctors in the ICU are the most unreliable ones I had experienced. The nurses and the ward boys are also same and incompetent to rely upon. The GM Col. Bhatnagar is a sweet talker only, he is also very big fraud. The hospital has got high emission antennas fixed on its roof top from telecom companies and getting hefty sum for same, can you tell me in which hospital have you seen this??? These high emissions from antennas give cancer and tumors to patients admitted or those who come for treatment.I request you to withdraw its registration as a hospital and close down this foul place who is playing with peoples life and trust.

Hello,
I have admitted my Wife for Delivery in Thatha Hospital, Dr.A.S.Rao nagar, Near Radhika Theater, Hyderabad. I wanted to avail cashless benefit of my Insurance. Doctor asked to pay her the entire amount when my wife was in operation theater. She took 12,000rs as her fees and told that the Hospital people are not paying her for Insurance patients. She promised me to payback once she receive any money from the hospital.
The Hospital people claimed 52,000rs from the Insurance company and out of which they approved only 47,000rs.
The following are the details of what I have paid to the hospital.
The difference amount 52,000-47,000= 5000
And 10% of the 47,000 = 4,700
So, I had to pay Around 10,000rs in the Hospital.
And The Hospital claimed 43,000rs from the Insurance company and out of which they only paid 33,000rs because the hospital people are not able to provide proper documents.
Now, When ask them how much you have paid to doctor, they say that they are in a big loss because of me and did not pay doctor anything.
And the Doctor says, she will return the money only if the hospital pay..
This is the new kind of making money from the people, when a person is in Operation theater.
The Operation was done on Feb, 23-2011.
Is there any thing we can do regarding this as I dont have any bills or written letter from the Doctor or Hospital.
Thanks and regards,
Kalyan

killer doctors of Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Punjabi Bagh I would like to bring to your notice the misusage of ECHS facility happening in Maharaja Agarsen Hospital- Punjabi Bagh New-Delhi which kills the patient who go their to get well.
My father was taken there for Brain Coiling, the surgery for the same was not conducted properly & later was not taken well care in ICU, which resulted in various hospital induced infections and we lost him for a disease in which patient gets well in 5 to 7 days & resumes a normal life in 1 month.
DETAILS
1) My father was admitted in Maharaja Agrasen Hospital on 1 june 2012
with brain aneurysm ( a protruding bubble or sac on a blood vessel
caused by a weak spot in the vessel wall). On 02/06/2012 evening Dr
Ashwin Garg advised for operation (Brain coiling) to be done on 03/06/2012 as brain
operations are done in the morning. However around 06.30 PM same day he called
up and said he can do the operation today itself, since in this kind
of condition the family always goes by the Doctor, so despite of night
time we agreed for the operation on 02/06/2012 night itself, the operation
was completed at 12:00 am and Dr Ashwin Garg after coming out from the
operation theatre was not happy and said since the aneurysm is
ruptured while coiling, he has called Dr Dhruv Chaturvedi to do
another operation (EVDS name of the surgery), we did not have any other
option so we were signing the documents where ever they were asking us
to do. Later after operation he was shifted to neuro ICU.
2) Next day my father came in to his sense and even spoke to us, for 2
days after operation he was talking and Dr Dhruv said he is fine but we have to keep him
under observation.
3rd day onwards my father stopped talking and little bit of hand
Movement was only there for next 2 days and when we asked the Dr
Dhruv what is happening, he said these kinds of things happen with this
kind of patients and was very rude as well, then with in another 2
days all the bodily movements stopped and whenever during the visiting
hours we used to ask the nurse why there isn't any movement the reply
was " he is sleeping".
3) In this manner( Coma state) my father's days were passing in the ICU
with no movement, my brother was staying in the hospital and I was
travelling daily to the hospital and from 6 June 2012 onwards
continuously we were in touch with the Dr-Dhruv instead of his rude
behavior, sometimes even when he was not ready to meet I used to catch
him at the parking are so that I can get the update on the health of my
father, his behavior towards us was as if he was doing some kind of favour
to us by treating our father.
4) In the mean time we re-searched in the internet about these kind of
disease, it was mentioned EVDS should not be kept in head for more
than 2 weeks, else it causes infection, since the hospital was getting
money from ECHS so they continueed to keep the EVDS and later on did
trachestomy and other operations just to make as much money as they
can through ECHS, we tried to take our father to other hospital but
Dr. Dhruv didn’t authorize the same & also frightened us by saying since we have seen him from the
beginning , we know what went wrong an what went right so we should
keep him in Agarasen hospital. In the mean time Dr Dhruv went on
vacation for around 10 days and handed over my father's case to some
lady doctor, who was not ready to discuss anything with us saying this
is the case of Dr Dhruv and I do not know anything about it.
5) On 27th July 2012 Dr Dhruv did another operation ( except the first
operation, in all other operations my father was in Coma only) and
said after this you can take your father to your home and take care of
him there. Next day when we were ready to take him to home, the
doctor said "suddenly his condition has worsened and now your father is
into 100% ventilator and it’s just a matter of 5-6 days maximum". He didn’t tell us what went wrong & why his state changed from that of being taken to home to such serious state
6) We were in a shock ,what went wrong suddenly and then we thought of
taking risk and shifted my father to Fortis Noida. Though Fortis
Doctors were aware that nothing can be done as Doctor Dhruv and
Ashwin Garg of Agarasen hospital have already ruined everything but
due to our request they agreed to admit my father and tried their
best, however everything for us was finished on 6 aug 2012 1:15 am.
Would request you to take some serious action against Maharaja Agarasen
Hospital Punjabi Bagh and remove it from the Approved list of ECHS hospitals. As it is the negligence and the greedy nature
of the Doctors of dragging the ECHS patients so that they can make
money out of it.
Our complaint is against
a) Dr. Dhruv Chaturvedi for not telling us exactly what went wrong, why was he operating so many times & being rude. He is the one who asked my father to be moved to Maharaja Agrasen Hospital- Punjabi Bagh from Rockland hospital. He was doctor in-charge of my father but kept us in dark throughout
b) Dr. Ashwin Garg, as he operated upon my father at night despite the original plan of operating in the morning
c) Against Maharaja Agrasen Hospital as they treat all the ECHS patients as money making machine & bother only to take money by extending their stay at the hospital without caring for the wellness of the Patient.

A quick response on 7259300113 or monalisa.hota@gmail.com will be really appreciated. Thanks a lot.
