I got my wife admitted in max hospital wazirpur delhi on 24th may 2010 as it was adviced by the doctor . At the time of addmission i was asked to deposit Rs 5000 and instead of charging 5000 the lady at the counter swiped my card twice and my a/c was debited twice 5000 Rs . I recieved sms about that from the bank and i informed her about that and they said that it would be credited back in the a/c automatically withing 30 days .
The nursing care provided was pethetic so my wife decided to move to other hospital . So we left LAMA.
I got busy as at that time my wife was not well and my daughter fractured her elbow . so after 30 days i went to the hospital to check the status of the refund , to my surprise they said that they dont show any extra 5000 in their a/c for that day. I provided the accounts department of max hospital with my bank statements showing twice my account was debited , but they say that they dont have any money . I was asked to contact my bank (icici bank) i checked with them and they say that the payment was cleared by us and they closed the case . I had asked max hospital to show me the payment slip which i would have signed in order to release the payment but they say that they dont have any slips and they have closed the case at their end . So i dont know from where to get my 5000 Rs. I have the sms saved which i recieved for the transaction . The total bill was for Rs 6469 (5000+1469) however my a/c was debited 5000+5000+1469 (11469 Rs) . Plz help
