My friend Pratheepa, age 26, had expired 6 months back in Ramkrishna mission hospital, Coimbatore, and it was because of the negligence by the hospital people. She died of acute swine flu. She was in hospital ICU for 15 days, where as swine flu virus can't live for such a long time. The main fault from the hospital was that they took 5 days to get the report of H1N1 test. Till that time they have not taken any action for such a deadly disease. While admitting to the hospital itself she had throat problems and was not able to talk. This is the primary symptom for swine flu.

Please help us to get justice.

Her father wants to sue them in the court. But we don't know how to go for it.

Should we appear to consumer court or Human rights commission?

What are procedures to dodge the case there, against the hospital?

Which is the nearest court to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, as her parents are from this place.

Is there a need for a lawyer for this case, if yes which is the best advocate to contact, please provide the contact details.

My father went for regular checkup in a reputed hospital in Gurgaon.
Because of their greed to make money they forced them to get admit in the hospital for 2-3 days, but because of their bloody negligence they inject the some dips in his vein in few mins which supposed to get complete in 6-7 hours, that caused him to go on ventilator in few mins after the admission that cause his untimely death after few days.

We have no proof that they used those dips neither they mentioned those in reports but we know what dips they have used as we were present there at that time. we have some doctors in family we consult this with them. As per them, to complete these dips in few mins was the main reason.

What steps should i take, so that in future no one would suffer like this and i can provide some justice to my father' death.
