Sir,

Prior to any complication my mother Tapasi biswas went for RTIICS
[Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Science ],
Mukundapur, Calcutta for thorough heart checkup with a package of Rs.
3200/- by cash payment. Subsequent to this my mother suddenly felt
heart complications and was admitted to nearest Nursing home (Panacea
Nursing Home, Barrackpore ) from where next day she was shifted to
RTIICS , Kolkatta. For a good treatment at the advice of Dr. Sunil
Lilah over the phone . Later on we came to know that he was out of
Station since 30th Oct to 1st Nov. Angiographic test done on 2 nd Nov
, when after thorough discussion with Dr. Lilah we agreed for
Angioplasty with a Total package of Rs. 1.70 Lac, the maximum limit,
which he assured us and told us no question of cash payment .

This was considered Dr. Lilah was out of station , So I had paid
additional bed charge for 3 days costing Rs. 7800/- in CCU and
angiography done was delayed for 3 days .

Another point is Rs. 1.70 Lac will be include of all bed charges since
admission to discharge , but in bill they have raised to 1 lac 76
thousands as a corporate patient charge and additional Rs. 5342/-
(where again Rs. 3000/- Bed charge and Rs. 100/- Admission Fees)
charged by Cash. So total bill was :-

Rs. 1,76,000/- Corporate Bill
Rs. 5340/- Cash Bill

NOTE:-
1. Angiographic test Package Rs. 11,300/-,which was in package , So
why they charged this days Bed Charge.

2. If doctor is out of station, so why Consultation Fees charged for
Rs. 1200/- ?

3. Cash payment of Non Surgical item was Rs. 5342/- , So why here
Admission Fees 100/- and Difference in Bed Charge Rs 3000/- Repeatedly
charged again, why they include this amount in Cash bill not in
Corporate Bill ?

4. Diagnostic bill, Pharmacy Bill, Shown in Corporate bill are totally
Suspicious .Diagnostic already done in the earlier TMT Test Package by
cash Payment Rs. 3200/-

As I am very much satisfied with the treatment of Dr. Sunil Lilah and
his great effort and his Co-operation with us, but as I believe that
there is big a gap between Doctor and the Administration of RTIICS.

So this is my Kind request that please review all the bill with
breakup from RTIICS of my Mother Tapasi Biswas before proceed any
payment. I am also sending you the scan copy of all the Corporate as
well as Cash bill which RTIICS have charged from me.
