My father had a comlaint of puss formation in his one eye cornea, so we took him to Bombay hosipal on (27/06/2012), they did all the initial check ups and scans and asked my father to get admit asap. After the admission they started the treatment(medicines ) and on 32 july they said we need to do a small opearation of the eye. On 3rd july they did operation and very next day on 4th july they discharged us. For thease days they put charges of Rs.1,10000(81K paid by mediclaim + 31 paid by us) . Out of those 110000 more than 40K was just for medicines.

They asked us to re visit again on 11-july, on this visit they said the infection increased again and you need to get admit and we need to replace the eye ball. My father asked doctor you guys made bill of over 1 Lac with in week and just after 1 week you are saying we need to replace eye ball. After listening this even doctor got shocked and asked how come we got bill of 1 Lac the the nurse or secretery standing next him said they had cashless mediclaim. What the heck does than mean they had mediclaim???.

They kept my father in ward(A/C) containing 12 beds and while sending request for mediclaim payment they wrote twin sharing A/C room. I am still not able to figure out how these guys get away with white lies.

We got my father admin in bombay hospital considering it a trust based hosiptal and we can get good treatment in econimical price, but they simple cheated us by Health, Hassel and money too.
