Why don’t you try writing to their customer care team at icare@idbi.co.in? I’ve had a good experience with them in the past. They are usually very prompt at replying to complaints received on that id.

Policy on ECS Debit Date Hi,
I am having home loan from IDBI Bank. They are deducting the EMI on exactly the last day of the month (forenoon). But I get salary on end of the day of the last day (Evening). Because of this my cheque was bounced and I had to borrow from friends to keep the balance on the ECS day. This is more painful to borrow from friends to reserve the money. But one of my neighbor, who also got home loan from IDBI, the ECS date is 10th of the month. I am not sure why the date is last of day of the month in my case.
Are there any rule from from RBI that home loan ECS has to be on particular date?
Is there any thing that can I do to make my ECS to 10th of the month ?
