Issue in Home loan interest rate change Hi,
Last year in Jun' 2010, I took my home loan from HDFC bank at dual rate scheme, where my home loan interest rate was given as follows:
1st year till Mar'2010 - ROI is 8.25%
2nd year till Mar'2011 - ROI is 9.00%
3rd year onward - floating rate
Now When I am looking into my online home loan account then it is showing me my next year expected interest rate as 11.75% while current floating ROI of HDFC bank is 10.75%, why this partiality with old customer. And now I am suppose to pay some money to convert my home loan rate to current rate.

addressing discrepency in homeloan rates dear consumer,
the matter has to be addressed to the office of assistant manager credits, HDFC Bank at Mumbai.
You can do so and if they dont act - you can write to us at
alliedlawmumbai@yahoo.in for technolegal advice .
the matter of descrepency of interest rates promised by a bank - the bank has to comply with the same.
else it becomes breach of contract
