i had applied for a home loan in hdfc bank in dec2010. bank took all the documents from me... and the processing fees and in cashed the fees.. later they said my loan request is not sanctioned and turned down... the reason they said that the company i was working for is unstable, ...how can they be so sure that all my life i will work in the same company ?? anywhere its the bank decision... but then why are they not refunding my processing fees..?

then i applied to another bank..they sanctioned my loan..did all the paper work with me. agreements etc.. and took the processing fees..

i could see this new bank did lot of hard work on processing the loan and deserve the processing fees.

i m very disappointed with hdfc bank..

u see it is a disgrace for any person or any bank to charge a processing fee even before a work is done...this is ethically wrong.

I had applied for a lome lone through dhfl.they not given me any file no. no personal discussion. and deposit my fee check in bank. after that they refused my loan. at the time of documentation they told me after the sention of loan we will deposit this check in your account.

kindly guide me how to get my processing fee back.
