Today when I received the repayment schedule, I was surprised that interest had been increased twice in a span of 2 months by 0.75% each time.
In May 2011, it was increased from 9.25% to 10% and again in June it was increased from 10% to 10.75%.

I was not given an intimation at all that my loan interest would be increased - neither by mail nor by postal mail nor by call/sms..

I would be raising this issue with Banking Ombudsman and would urge everyone to be careful while taking a loan with Axis Bank.
