Hi,

I had taken a home loan from HDFC of 44 lacs 4 years back, now total outstanding is 40 lacs. now i have sold the property and went to HDFC bank and made apre payment of 15 lacs. after clearance of this i paid rest of the outstanding amount. but they charged me 2% + service tax as pre payment charges on whole 40 lacs rupees. Now i want to know whether i can take any legal action against them as they have not mentioned anything in my agreement.
