Hi,

My name is Tony Joseph. I went to SBI Sarjapur branch Bangalore for my loan transfer from RBS. Loan agent (Deepti) told me, your total cost for transfer would be around 6K. And she also said SBI is doing most of its loan processing through third party services. Then she asked cheques favour of Pandrinath of Rs 3K and 1K for proce valuation of my flat and wood works. Pandrinath never had come to my place. Deepti also taken cheque of amount 1.5 favour AVS Nirmala for legal valuation of documents. Deepti also collected a cheque of amount 1k favour of Uma N for document authorizing. All these with SBI processing free and free for documenation went around 12K for me for my loan transfer.

Please let me know whether all these third party payments are as per the normal loan procedure, else please let me there is there anything I could do to get my money back.

Hello Mr Chandak, you should not have spent so much money on any new customer until you are sure that the customer would be at your side to take your services..

Does anyone from SBI take action for all these complaint?? Is anyone from SBI higher authorities atleast listening to our complaints?

My Name is Manish Kumra Gupta I had taken Home loan from SBI bhopal nehru nagar branch ( acc No 63036014232 ). in 17 nov 2008 of rs 17,95000 (include 44,570 rs for sbi life insurance ).

Today i got letter fron sbi ( RACPC Asst General Manager ) that you have to pay 21, 382 rs additional for premium of comprehensive insurance of flat / house against fire , flood & earth quake , how they can force me to buy any insurnace .

Please help me what i have to do..

Dear Team,

I have applied the HL in the name of Deepak Jain & Manju Jain from Lucknow Aliganj Br through marketing team Mrs Smiriti Malviya . My father has submitted all the KYC document + Original allotment letter to Mrs Smiriti. She has submitted all the document to the RACPC department in the month of 7th of Sep 2011. Till date 20th NOV 2011 I have not recd the disbursement amt. My father age 70 yrs who is based at Lucknow has submitted the entire document along with the original allotment letter.

My father every day use to visit to the SBI Aliganj br on every alternate day to get the status of the loan. After 60days he came to know that original letter is not submitted. As per the process without original allotment letter you people are not forwarding any loan application. In the mean time your RACPC dept has requested to my father that pls gets the attested the allocated letter from LDA department which we have submitted on a week ago. But in-spite of repeated reminder and follow-up you people are not in position to give the disbursement..

If your RACPC department is having any problem pls cancel the loan we will apply the loan application from HDFC Bank, I got the approval from the HDFC BANK as my Company (TATA MOTOR) has given the undertaking for the loan amt.

SBI is making the property insurance against natural disastor etc.

I did not file any application with SBI General insurance - one fine day I got a policy informing that I was enrolled into their General Insurance. I was not even given a chance to choose my insurer. On inquiring the Manager (SBI RACPC - Chennai) I was told that this is a must and he asked me to go check with their heasd office.

I don't understand why an Insurance has to be mandatory - Is this legal ?

we have applied for a bank loan of about 21 lakh and it was sanctioned and 2 installement was given to builders(about 10 lakh). after that due to some case going in between builder and the one company the construction stopped and afetr that hearing is going on for the owenership of land.
but my EMI is started and now i m paying EMI for nothing in my hand, what to do?

Sanction Letter No. RACPE/EL/Nil, dated 04/02/2011.
Sub: - Discrepancy in rate of interest as per SMS received from your corporate office.

This is with reference to the above sanctioned Loan, I would like to inform you that I have taken 1st disbursement on 21/02/2011 for the Rs. 4,64,000 (Rs 4 Lac Sixty Four Thousands only) bearing SBI Cheque No. 177818 against above sanctioned Loan.
As per the sanctioned terms, Rate of Interest is fixed for 3 years from the date of 1st disbursement as under:
1) 1st year Rate of Interest fixed per annum @ 8.50 %
2) 2nd and 3rd year Rate of Interest is Fixed per annum @ 9.25%
I have attached following documents for your verification.
1) Copy of sanctioned letter
2) Copy of cheque of 1st disbursement given by you.
I came to know through your SMS received from corporate office on my mobile No 998014373 on dated 11th Feb, 2012 that rate of interest will be changed to 10.50% in place of 9.25%. (as per sanction letter issued by Bank to undersigned.)

So I am requesting you to recheck the sanctioned letter issued to me once again and consider the same rate of interest (9.25%) as mentioned in sanction letter for further 2 years ( i.e for the period from Feb2012 to Feb 2014)
