Dear Consumer court advocate,

We have sent repeated reminders to the Union bank of India asking for reasons why delay in processing the loan but to no avail. The loan application was submitted in Oct 2009 and till date, the bank has been asking us for more documents. We have given every possible document and infact even proved we have more than enough capacity to pay back the loan amount.
They have charged us more than Rs 35,000 already. We would like to get atleast part of the money back. This is a large amount for working class members like us.

i am apply for home loan at adajan branch before 7 month my loan cleare before 20 days my complain is stap by stap your pro calling me 7 to 8 times for his branch and after itc building surat calling your differnt officer to me 7 times some simple procedure i complaine to manager mr prabhatkumar for it he said to me it is our routine procedure

i want a justice that it right procedure to call 14 times to any home loan custamore.

in india rbi said to finance in rural illterate poor people but your bank not to given literate people

i beg official action to take against mr. naresh kachha to mr prabhakar who are responsibal in it.

I have applied for home loan of rs.700000.00 through vijaynagar branch,naranpur, ahmedabad.0n the second week of march. File is under process since 20/3/10. I have submitted all documents whenever required by bank.last saturday on 10/4/10 i was informed by regional office ahmedabad thatfile has been sent to advocate. Since than, i have not received any information from the bank.i want to know ,why there is delay in passing loan.i am ready to provide all the documents.why there is silence from bank side. Almost 25 days has been passed. How much time bank required to pass the loan.

Keeping faith that sbi willnot delay after providing necessary documents,i have committed seller to pay the required amount on or before 6/5/2010.

I would like to recommend that Do not take loan from SBI,
I applied Loan from there Noida -63 branch (UP).
Initially they has promised to me they will sanction my loan with in 15 days but after submitting all document they start asking to show Flat original paper, I told him that photocopy is already submitted and why should flat owner will come to show the original document to you and at the time of loan disbursement you will get all original documents.
They unnecessary created many problems for me.
After 15 days past and they have no answer about loan sanction date etc.
There customer care number always goes busy and they do not like to give answer on mail.

I have taken a home loan from sbi. I need to provide a provisional certificate for the loan to my company for tax proof. I visited the branch for the same. But the manger was very rude to me. He refused to give me the certificate...

Just want to know, is there any law that defends a manager from giving a provisional certificate. Can bank refuse to give a certificate? is there any law for it?

I had applied on 22/07/10 for a housing loan amounting Rs. 24 lac along with all necessary/ required documents at SBI,Kondhwa Branch, Pune (MH) to purchase a flat in Pune. But, on 28/08/10 it have been told by Branch Manager that your loan is uder process since 1 month and we cannot do anything, we dont know anything, etc...they are not telling me any tentative date.

My current landlord has given me time till 31st aug.10 to stay in the current home after that I will be homeless. Also the owner of my new flat will not allow me to enter without sanction letter.
So, you are requested to let me know that who is the concerned person and why these type of remarks have made on my loan. Please acknowledge and reply on my address. ashish.palia@gmail.com

We had taken SBI home loan last year under their scheme of 1st year 8% post this the rate moves to 10.25%, however from the start of the loan i have been charged rate of 10.25%. Also it is very surprsing to note that the base rate regime introduced by RBI was to protect the existing clients is a sham & expolited by banks to their advantage.
SBI recently hiked their PLR by 50 bps which would move my loan ROI to 10.75% but has not changed the base rate or changed the rate for new home loan borrowers.

There is no sense of rules & regulation on this despite RBI's effort.

I hope it is looked into as many clients are being charged in a non transparent manner.

We are following up with SBI for home loan since three months and yet the applications are not been proceeded . We are continuosly in touch with the bank manager and we get the one or other reason for the delay . Also they force us to have a salary account in their bank ( which is at present in IDBI bank). Is it compulsary to have a SBI salary account? As dat collected this law is been inforced on us to delay in proceeding our home loan.
Can you help us in this matter and advice us what has to be done as the builder is asking for 24 % interest on the demand letter provided to us if we don't give him the money as agreed to pay as per the percentage of completion of the building.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

i have availed a housing loan from SBI hyderabad as i wanted to buy a flat in hyderabad. i being an outsider stay out of hyderabad most of the time. the SBI however, granted full payment to the builder even when the flat was incomplete and still the whole building is incomplete. which includes the common area, parking space, stairs and all..Now, i want to know whether, SBI has rights to pay whole amount to builder without checking the progress of construction??

Hi I want to know if any SBI home loan account goes to NPA what is the procedure to charge the rate of interest. Is there any different procedure to charge the rate of interest before the account goest to NPA and after the account goest to NPA? I will appreciate your response.
