I am facing sever problems in getting a home loan. As per the lenders I have a NEGATIVE Credit Profile.

Few years back I had a very good job, I had some 4 to 5 credit cards. Things do not remain same always... I lost my job, came back to mumbai, got another job few months later. mean while I was using the credit cards. once I taught of doing balance transfer to pa off my all other cards & just keep paying to 1 card.

Every thing was fine until the SBI agent with whom I had discussed the BT's did a mistake in typing 1 digit of HSBC credit card incorrect.

This went on for months. I did not get appropriate respons from SBI. neither HSBC helped in tracing the funds.

Some times I received calls from SBI for payments & sometime from HSBC. I declined their request & asked them to first help me in finding the missing funds.

SBI said we paid the DD, now its not our look out. And HSBC said we did not receive an funds from SBI on you card, so its not our fault.
Finally I decieded not tp pay any thing to an one.

1 & 1/2 year just passed aways. I did not receive an payment reminders/calls nothing....

Againg the company with whom I was working shut down its business in Mumbai. I was again Jobless.

Some how I contacted these credit card banks & decided to settle all my a/c's.

MY motive was to pay the actual amount. I did'nt had any bad intensions of not paing the debts but never new this settlement will screw up everything... I will make me a Person with NEGATIVE PROFILE and I will never get a housing loan.

Nearly 4 months later, I got a job in a BPO (Call Centre).

I contacted a few people who promised me Housing Loan will get approved but it did'nt.

Finally I met a person who guranteed me that DESUTCH Home finance will grant my application.

I discussed all the details of my a/c & profile to this person. He still said not to worry. He advised me to submit all the self attested documents & a check worth Rs. 6200/- in favour of the bank.

Nearly 2 months later, I am now told I have a NEGATIVE PROFILE and my loan application has been rejected.....

I don't understand why did the bank logged in my application even after knowing that I work for a BPO, I have done settlement for 5 credit cards?

Why did the bank accepted the cheque & the application in first place?

Now neither the bank nor the agent is ready to give in writing the rejection letter. Nor they are heping me with the Application / File Login Number.

I request your good office to kindly guide me in teaching this bank & the agent a lesson. And also let me know what do I do in order to avail a housing loan?
