Air Lounge purchased from Telebrands Hi
I have purchased an Air Lounge from Telebrands on 07/03/09 vide Order no - M769288 & Invoice No - V000112328.
Earlier there was a puncture in the product which I corrected through use of patch provided with the product. But on 16-07-09, the product has lost the shape & the joint portion of the back & the seat has become flattened.
I lodged a complain with the company's Customer Service, Miss Prabha, as the product is under Life time warranty, as per the claim made by on the TV. But I was surprised to hear that the product carries only 15 days warranty & for any manufacturing defect the customer has to pay to get the some corrected.
As per my knowledge any product under warranty is supposed to be repaired or replaced in case of any manufacturing defect in the product. This is the first time I am hearing that a customer has to pay for manufacturing defect covered under warranty.
Further I also wanted to get in touch with some senior personnel to take the matter up, to which the company's executive refused to transfer the line.
I even send across a mail lodging my complain on 17/07/09. But till date i have not recieved any response from the company on this matter.

Pls. send a written complaint to the MD of the Co. at following address to get any response of Co. level. Wait for the response for 10 to 15 days and contact us again with the provided response from them.

Defective Air lounge purchased from Telebrands Dear Sir/ Ma'am,
I read the previous complain regarding the damage Air Lounce piece he bought from Telebrands.
I have a similar grievance. My father had purchased an Air lounge some 4years back directly from Television ad. The louncge was delivered to us.
After 3 years I opened that lounge for the 1st time for use. But to my surpiese with 3 months of use The lounge started losing air from it's base with few hours.
I took my lounge to the Dadar(E), Mumbai, Nakshatra Mall outlet.... After keeping my lounge for 3 months I get the news that my lounge was never sent for repair and it was lying in their godown... After following up for so long I finally managed to go to that outlet and get my lounge back. Then I took my lounge to the Malad (W), Inorbit Mall outlet and after 2.5 months of constant follow-up, I'm told that the damage is irrepairable and if I want, I should pay Rs.3,000/- and take a new piece. I had a word with the India Head, Mr. Mehul, who to my surprise said that : "1st I should not be addressing your problem coz you bought the piece from Television. So the claims made there are not applicable on our outlets, and we do not take damaged pieces for repair, bought from Television. I'm helping you from my side and giving you an offer to buy a new lounge in half the price. If there will be any damage in that we shall see at that time." I really don't know why should I shell out Rs.3,000/- for the replacement of a brand new lounge that is barely used, just because there is some damage in it that the company do not want to repair....
Seeking your help and Advice over this, coz I've been suffering from last 5.5 months.
