This is with regard to my purchase of an Outdoor Garden Chair from Reliables Furniture located at Koramangala in Bangalore on 25th of October 2009. The price of this chair was Rs. 4,800 and
I made the payment via my HSBC credit card.

However, the cahsier informed me that the first time did not generate a print out of the charge slip and hence he swiped my card the second time for the
same amount. It was informed to me that since the card has been swiped twice, there was a chance that the amount may have been debited from my account twice. When I checked my account 2 days later, true enough there was a double debit for Rs. 4,800. I received the delivery of the chair on Tuesday as committed by them.

However, I got a call on Wednesday from the shop that they were coming
to my house to deliver 2 sets of additional chairs that I had just
looked at while at the shop and I had not yet decided on whether I would
buy the same. This was because my card was charged twice and instead of
refunding the amount or checking with me on whether I wanted these new
chairs, they assumed that I would accept it. I called them immediately in
this regard and was told that since I was considering buying it, they would send it across. I agreed to this since the first chair that I bought from them was good and I was happy with the service.

However, the new set of chairs that were delivered on Wednesday, 28th
October were broken and there were some parts missing for their delivery
people to assemble the same. They left the pieces of the chairs as it is
and promised that they would return the next day and set things right.
Post this, is when my problems have begun. Today is the 6th of November
and I have still not received the replacement chairs. I have been
calling at least 8-10 times a day to contact them and there has been no
answer on their phones. I am being promised by the shop attendants that
it will be delivered every evening, but nothing has happened as yet. I
have also spoken to the owner's brother, Mr. Nagaraj on this and he has assured me repeatedly that it would be delivered, the last assurance being last night at 7:05 PM that it would be delivered by 8 PM.

This is a clear case of cheating the customer and I am not putting up
with their lies any longer. This should not be committed by them in
future to any customer and I am ensuring that this does not happen by posting my complaint here and ensuring that all future customers to Reliables Furniture in Koramangala, Bangalore watch out before they buy anything from them.
