It is to inform you that I bought a VIDEOCON Double Door fridge, on 27th Oct 2008.
Till 21st July 09 it was functioning properly but on the same day I noticed that it was not getting colled at all.I immediately called Next Show Room(Panvel, Navi Mumbai) from where I had purchased and they arranged for technician from VIDEOCON on 22nd July.The technician told there is a problem in Timer circuit and he made reset and it was functioning properly.
On 5th Aug I faced the same problem and again called the same number of Next Show Room. They were trying from there end and I was also calling VIDEOCON tech number provided by them repeatedly and there was no result.After four days they came and told that gas was blocked and will they will come back with in two days with proper tools.But the same thing repeated, after calling for many times by me and Next show room people from Belapur(as panvel Next show room was closed), a technician from VIDEOCON came and tolled about fault of Timer circuit and he also assured that if it fails again then they are going to replace the Timer circuit with in Three days.
Since then I and Belapur Next show room people are repeatedly calling VIDEOCON service incharge of Panvel and even then no body is comming and at least telling the exact reason behind the failure of the Fridge.
I can surely tell that VIDEOCON technicians are neither having proper idea about trouble shooting nor they care about the complaint.Even the Next show Room employees had requested me to lodge complaint against the VIDEOCON servicing Dept as they were also fed up with irresponsible treatment of VIDEOCON.
I had gone through many complaints lodged by customers on the same company and same reason of compaint in your Consumer court. I am really surprised why this VIDEOCON management is least bothered about this.
If I talk any thing more about mechanism of the fridge they start saying simply that in our area there is a problem of Voltage drop. But I can't understand how come the same problem can arise in every corner of India and how come voltage is related with gas blokage as I am also an Electrical Engineer.
I request you to take the necessary action and guide me properly to stop the wastage of money and time further. I mention the necessary details below:-
