    sir,
    I brought a videocon fridge(D 280 Wd Dx) from VIJAY ELECTRONICS, 4,jayanti market, jaipur on 15th oct 2006.ON 27st feb 2008 i.e after 16 months my fridge stopped cooling .I Promptly complained to videocon custmer care and to the dealer and theycame to the conclusion that my compressor needs to be replaced which is under gurantee period but they charged me Rs1100 for oil and gas refilling.At the time of compressor replacement i noticed it that they were replacing and old used compressor. I Refused for such replacement but the then service manager of jaipur (MR BINDAL) assured that it will work properly and if it doesn't then he would be responsible for it .i agreed.
    now again my compressor has stopped cooling and i complained again and today the service person visited and informed me that my compressor has pumped oil and it needs to be repaired but this time he demanded that i shall bring the fridge to their service center(last time they did it at my place) This will amount to an additional around Rs1000 for convenince (to and fro) including 2 unskilled labours (who may damage it) and gave me an estimate of another rs 1500 to 2000 for its repair.In addition to it i'll have to take 2 days leave one day to accompany it to service center and another day to get it back
    my complaint is why should i bear for the faulty compressors the company is supplying and the mental and time lost and in addition being fridge less in this summer is unbearable.
    please help me and guide me

    I had already complained about the non functioning of my Electrolux fridge in the complaint site of Videocon and electrolux several times.
    The Authorised service centre at Panvel informed me that the fridge cannot be repaired .
    After that Mr. Padmakar of M/s Videocone called me( on 1st oct 09 if I remember correctly) from M/s Kings Electronics,Panvel where from I purchased this fridge in June 2006.He informed that the fridge is not repairable so he proposed for replacement with the condition that I have to pay 40% of the price at which I purchased the fridge.He told me to convey my decision within 2 days time to a telephone number of M/s Kings Electronics,Panvel.

    I visited M/s Kings Electronics panvel 3-4 days back to inform about my decision to the replacement proposal of Mr Padmakar and informed the Kings Electronics( Mr. Padmakar was not there ) about my decision of not going for the replacement ( Mr. Padmakar told me the day he called me that replacement will be given from the existing model of Electrolux/videocone fridge only)as the performance of these fridges are poor and every two years I shall not pay 40% for a replacement.
    M/s Kings Electronics asked for my mobile number and promised that they will talk to Mr.
    Padmakar( Mr.Padmakar didnot inform M/s Kings Electronics about the replacement offer he suggested to me) and will inform me about this.
    Yesterday I visited M/s Kings Electronics as I did not get any feed back on my decision about not to go for a replacement fridge.
    M/s Kings Electronics talked to Mr. Padmakar and later on asked me to talk to MR.padmakar. I informed him about my decision of not going for a replacement and asked for money back .
    He told me I have to take a replacement.I lold him I would not go for a fridge which doesnot even last for two years( WARRANTY IS ONE YEAR)and asked for the money back.

    I am feed up with the approach of the company and its offices like Mr. Padmakar.They donot know anything about marketing I believe . Their approach is very rough , not ready to accept the complaints and problems. I wonder how this companies are in the market with such lousy resources.

    The site in which I registered my complaints on several occassions seems dead.They donot bother to answer at all even though I gave my mobil number and E-mail id for further correspondence.
    There are many varitiues of product available in the market with long warranty and i want to go for thouse products.I want my money back.Please help me toi get money back

    Dear Sir,

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.
