We purchased CROMA fridge on Mar 1st, 2010 (Bill no. 147-144353). It has one year's manufacturer warranty and two years' extended warranty. Since Jan 2011, Fridge is not giving proper cooling on the below two sections including vegetable section because of which all the stuff at the bottom two sections are getting spoiled (if we keep the cooling between medium and maximum). If we increase the cooling to maximum, there is ice in all the stuff kept at the top two sections of the fridge. Also a bad smell is there always.
About this we complained in Jan 2011. At that time their server was down so they manually noted the details and sent the technician within two days. After the first repair, again the same problem occurred. We went to CROMA showroom and explained everything and which he noted in his manual register. Again technician came after a week and replaced the same thing which he did when he came first time. Then, again we lodged an online complain for which complaint no. is IC04BASC01-000385. The technician came 4 times and replaced the same thing from the showroom i.e., under 1st year warranty.
Again the same problem occurred and we called up again. We were told by the showroom guy that now we need to call and register a complain under extended warranty, since our 1st year manufacturer's warranty is expired. So they cannot do anything now.
We called up extended warranty toll free number and lodged and online complain, complain no. is 12097 dtd Mar 28, 2011. Also we requested to replace the fridge. We told that we are facing the same problem since Jan 2011 but they told that it is first time that you lodged a complain under extended warranty, so it is not possible to replace, they can only repair the fridge. The same technician came and replaced the same thing. After repairing, he said if the problem still persists, we will be replacing the fridge with the new one.
Again the same problem is there and now even the defrost button is not working. We called up again around Apr 2, 2011. We got a reply that technician will be coming soon. But nobody turned up.
Again we called up on Apr 9, 2011 and we got a reply that their senior manager will call us within one hour. But we did not get call from their side.
Again we called up on Apr 22, 2011 and we got a reply that today nobody is there and asked us to call on the next day.
We called Apr 23, 2011 and got a reply that their server is down therefore, it is not possible today and may be on Apr 25, 2011 Monday somebody will be coming for repairing the fridge.
Technician came on 27th April 2011 and he told to replace the same part once again and he will get the part tomorrow and replace.
We are following up for the same problem since Jan 2011. But it is not yet resolved.
