To introduce myself, Sharath Ghorpade, residing in the below address:

We own a BPL Fridge, which is about 8 years old and was in good condition.
Early this year, during February there were some cooling & defrost
complaints, that we were facing. Hence we reached out to Just Dial
services and enquired about a Dealer, who would service BPL Fridge. They
promptly directed us towards " Annapoorna Enterprises" (address given
below

#39, Pipeline Road, Yeshwanthapur, Bangalore - 560022 (Mobile Number -
96118 30436). Bill No : 204, dated 08th February 2009.

We are now facing similar problems with our refrigerator and we called the
same Dealer, as he had given a written guarantee for the replaced parts of
1 year. The bill amount for that service and part replacements cost us Rs
2850/-.

Now, we are told that the company is been taken over by another Company
called Zikon / Zicon. They are claiming that the old employees from
Annapoorna Enterprises are no longer working with them. They are saying
they are not liable / obligated to handle any of their previous customers
/ products, where there is a breach in the Guarantee / Warrantee given.

What is surprising is that, they claim the company is sold, but who would
retain the same mobile number? Also, the person who is attending calls on
this number is Allwyn, who says he is not in touch with any of the old
staff & wouldn't reveal his name or about the take over, till you tell him
the problem.

Can you please let us know, how to proceed with this particular case.
