We had purchased a whirlpool refridgerator (model #11263 & serial # INCO8470109904) from Vasanth & Co., North Usman Road, Chennai on 31/12/2008 & the same was installed by the whirlpool service engineers on 04/01/09 . Everything was fine till 08/10/2009, when we noticed that the fridge was not working. Its still under the warraty period. We called up the whirlpool customer care & a service engineer named Mr.Balaji had attended the service & informed that the Compressor has gone & needs a replacement & said the same will be replaced ASAP. The complaint # was 13701. But in vain. We kept calling the customer service but the response was pathetic & made us feel thats customers are fools.
All the products stored in the fridge had to be thrown in the trash. Till this date inspite of calling them again & again the response is very poor & they keep giving very lethargic reply, the call is not getting escalated. Why are customers fooled around like this. Its the hardwork that we pay & get these products, But then why are we getting cheated.
I request you to do the needful & make them aware that customers are not mere fools & they are taking up profits from the sweat & blood of customers like us.
