During September 1993, I have purchased one Videocon 165 ltrs Frost Free, Double Door refrigirator directly from

factory, VIDEOCON APPLICANCES LTD, 15 KM STONE, AURANGABAD-PAITHAN ROAD, VILLAGE CHITEGAON, DIST: AURANGABAD (INDIA). tHE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE REFRIGIRATOR IS 16772 WITH CODE NUMBER B15CH.

Now, the fan in the deep freezer is not functioning and thereby the items kept in the refrigirator are getting spoiled.
I contacted your service centre at KAKINADA, EAST GODAVARI DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH on 09-04-2011 and they promised to send the technician immediately. They did not keep their promise and again on 11-04-2011 I contacted them again. I got the same reply that they will send the technician but to my dismay they could not keep up their promise and even till today till this time I have no information from them.

I request you to advise me whom to approach about this problem.

Please do the needful at the earliest.

well...i never evr thought that i will have to bother u people bt ur right now my last resort.i purchased videocon refrigerator(may be my biggest mistake shall we say) double door 235lts on 11/12/2009 in the name of my wife pooja sharma from pai electronics ltd banaswadi area,bangalore.within 6 months there was a problem of freezer getting excessively cold while the lower area completely hot.i complaint and the defect was taken care of.
to my surprise again i registered a complaint for the same defect 2weeks back(complaint no BAN2804110335) which was attended after repeated calls n i being charged rs.1850\- .even after that it stopped working the very next day and i called RUDE engineer again(who as if doin a favor to me) n reported the problem.again he came n replaced the same part n appollogized that he put the wrong part before.refrigerator ws kept off for full day as instructed by the engineer n ws switched on thereby next day n ws working fine.
phew!!i again has registered the complaint now(complaint noBAN0705110509) for the same thing.can u just tell me how many times do i have to call u people for the same problem with amateur technicians coming,charging AS PER COMPANY NORMS and doing work as road side hawkers?i am totally fed up n would like you to rectify it at the earliest or change the refrigerator immediately as its just a waste if it cant even do the basic job of cooling.

I am the user of videocon regrigerator Model No. D-280 DX which was purchased in the month of June 2007 from one authorized dealer of videocon from Bansals Sales Corp. CPO Road, Bhadaur House Ludhiana (Punjab). I am Central Govt. Employee and is currently posted at Delhi. On 16.09.2011, i made a complaint vide No. DEL-1609110583 in the custmor care center regarding non cooling on which your service engineer of videocon named Subhash attended and reports that the compressor of the refrigerator is not working and it should be replaced for which he asked Rs.800/- (Rs. eight hundred) in advance and after replacement Rs. 800/ to be paid as refrigerator is under warranty period. I paid Rs. 800/- in advance and he told that he will send to men to change the compresor in 2-3 days as they have shortage of compresors in Delhi. After 2-3 days no response was received from him for which i made several calls to him, but he always replied that he is not receiving the compresor from the company for my refrigerator.Repeatedly i made many calls to the customer care center of videocon, but in reply they are answering that urgent reminder is given to the service engineer but from service engineer no reply on urgent reminder is conveyed to me. Neither he communicate any assurance for replacement of the compresor. After lapse of 11days neither the refrigerator has been repaired nor any favourable response has been received from the customer care centre. The employees of the customer care center are making so many excuses for repairing the refrigerator. Further, till date the videocon refrigerator is out of order and no care has been provided by the engineers of videocon company.Now i feel that puchasing the videocon product is a blunder mistake and i will suggest every known person to me not to purchase any product of videocon.

sir, with reference no. VAP2431BH-RFB, bill no. 127 book no. 03 i have purchased a videocon refrigerataor, model no. 980910260148210925, from GRD electronics- unit of rohit electronics. A-100, north block, west vinod ngr, delhi-92. sir after few months of installation it has been creating problems as it is not cooling properly and giving electrical shock. it is creating alot of problem tous.
kindly look into the matter .

I had got the service done ,in which the timer was changed , apparently the fridge is not working , the technician came and checked and confirmed the the timer (already changed by him is not working properly),since last one wk ,(9963460555)the call is not being answered.

I Megha gupta want to register a complaint which i want to document about my refrigerator which i purchased. i think that i have been made fool with the product as it is not working. when i called the service operator from the third party, i was aghast to see that the parts of the refrigerator have been assembled from different different companies products.

The compressor is of LG electronics whereas the timer is of whilrlpool. This is what i have got after buying a company product. Please provide me with a solution for the same. The details of the dealer from where i have purchased are mentioned below.
