I had purchase a new refrigerator on 7^th November, 2011. The machine is not cooling the water although freezer is working normally. On complaint, the mechanic has visited our house four times. We have followed the instructions of the mechanic but the problem still exists with the result that we are feeling great hardship for want of cool water in this season of scorching heat. It will be appreciated if an expert engineer is again deputed to get it repaired with out further delay.

this is in regards to complaint number GHA2806120700 lodged on 28th jun2012 with customer care for compressor problem,next day their representative(SONU PAL) visited and acknowledged that compressor is faulty and since its under warranty same will be replaced in next 24 hours,next day i.e 29 jun i received sms frm their service centre that engineer will be visiting to resolve i tried calling that person many times but call was not answered nor sms was responded to,i called the person who visited earlier he gave me the no of their supervisor Rahul SHARMA ,who according to me is the most unprofessional person and in a habit to say will check and call back and never calls back, was un aware of the situation , after repeated follow up he told me that engineer has met an accident (which later engineer confirmed that nothing as such had happened) so will send someone next day i.e 30 june, and as expected no one turned up on 30 th either, i again called rahul sharma on 1 july ,he was totally unaware of the things and said will check,so i called up engineer whose number i had recived on sms he told me that my complaint has been assigned to a different engineer so i should check with him, when i called that person JUNAID he promised he will be visiting on 2 july which never happened again, so next day on 3 july i kept on calling him after few hours he answered and said will be reaching in fifteen mins (at 2 pm on 3 july) but no one turned up since 6 pm so i called him back and he ssaid he hasnt received compresor so couldnt come and will be on leave on 4 july so now will be coming after 2 days,i called up rahul again who didnt bothered to answer my fone so i rang up customer care who after repeating their hard learnt lines of consoling shared a number of service centre Head DILIP ,i called him up and he upfront denied any help and asked me to get in touch with Rahul and said if he cant help then he cant do anything

now i reuqest intervention of concerned to sort my issue and highlight this to senior management of videocon so that employees like these should not put on stake reputation of such an esteemed organisation

double door fridge purchased in the month of Sept,11 now water leaking from door.

Hello,

I registered a call for repairing a refrigerator on 10th July 2012. Till now no one has turned for repair.
Many calls have been made to the Customer service,the response is so poor that before answering they were disconnecting the call.
I never thought that this can happen with VIDEOCON.


Finally when I called today, there was a surprise from the other side saying that the issue has been closed!!!
Even when no one visited here. Also I received a new call no : BAN1307150446


Is this the level of service you are providing to your customers??


Hope you will take it seriously and resolve it tomorrow, else I will have to take it to the
consumer court for delay in service and also for cheating us by updating the status as completed in your system.

I purchased Videocon Refrigerator 193L on May 16, 2009. This is to inform you that it is still in its WARRANTY PERIOD. It is a single door refrigerator purchased from VIDEOCON Exclusive 3, Sanjay Gandhi Market, BMC Chowk Jalandhar. It is since that time that it is not providing proper cooling. We made a complaint after 2 years (Dated Aug 1'2011) at your SERVICE CENTER. The sent a technician (Named as Mr. Raj Kumar) on Aug 3'2011. He charged us Rs. 1000 and changed the compressor. But that was all temporary because the cooling also stopped after 2-3 days. I again made a complaint as it was my right. But there was no action taken against this.

After 9 months (Dated May 5'2012) I again made a complaint. Your technician (Named Lakhwinder Singh) came to held us on May 9'12. Once again he charged Rs. 1,000 and changed our compressor. But on the same evening, the cooling became improper as it did earlier. I made a call to the same person (Mr. Lakhwinder). The following day, another technician Mr. Jasbir Singh came to check and he solved the problem.

But again two months later, the matter turned worse and then worser. I again made a complaint to your SERVICE CENTER. Your technician Mr. Jasbir Singh approached us and once again he changed the compressor. He demanded for Rs. 1,400. A week later, the cooling again stopped. But very sorry to say, your service center always kept on closing and ignoring my complaint.

The last complaint number provided to me (On 3/8/2012) was as follows:

With all due respect, I would say that your VIDEOCON TEAM is not working properly. I'd like to question, "Why are we suffering once taken your product." I would request you to kindly take an action IMMEDIATELY for the same. I would also request you to change my product since it is still in the trial period.

On 27-08-2012 i had lodged a complaint regarding my fridge door not closing my complain no is tha2708120252 but its still not attended i contacted their engineer mr shirodkar but he informed me that he has not recd my call from the co itself so is this the service what videocon co provides i would recomend people not to buy their products.
