Dear Team,

I bought Skoda Fabia TDI (make 2008), as second owner, from M/S P S Motors in good faith. The first owner of the car is also resident of Delhi.

I bought this car on 11.11.11 after an overall inspection from my relatives and commitments given by Mr Puran Singh (mediator and owner of M/S P S Motors, Ashok Vihar Phase III).

Mr Puran Singh assured me of:
1. the car fully serviced by authorized service center and need no service until 10,000 kms
2. all parts are genuine and company fitted and no part is changed/replaced or removed.

After recommendation from my relative that the car is best in its class, I bought it by paying cash amount of Rs. 3,65,000.

I did some routine work on the car, like changing the emblem with new one, wiper change, power window maintenance and rear view maintenance. These facts was made clear to me at the time of purchase. Everything was made done at Nawab Motors, Authorised Service Center of Skoda in Noida.

On 12 of January 2012, (right after two months), car's engine broke down. I called Skoda road-side assistance and they asked me to not to start and carry the car to nearest service center by towing it. I did the same and bring to Fahrenheit Service Center, Motinagar.

Where after 3 days of inspection, Fahrenheit told me:
1. Cars odometer reading was changed from 90k to 46k, (I bought the car while the reading was shown 46k)
2. Cars service was due, but not done at 90k, in which engine's timing chain and sprocket would be changed.
3. Engine oil used in car is of poorest quality which cause the pump set seize.

All these costs the car engine, severe damage and they gave me an estimate of more than 1,50,000/-

I called Mr Puran Singh, and told him the fact. He replied, that he would not take any liability after sale and any cost occurred would be paid only by me.

Now, I'm at a situation where neither I can use the car nor sell it. I towed the car outside to a mechanic and repairing work is still going on and may cost me more than 60k.

The process of RC transfer is still amid.

Is there any way to drag Mr. Puran Singh to consumer court and make him pay the damage?

Puran Singh did not give me:
1. a proper bill
2. documents related to servicing of car

Please help and guide me, I'm in immensely deep trouble.

Thanks in advance.
