We booked a HONDA CITY at Arya Honda coz we had an "incorrect impression" that Honda is professional.
Since the price of Honda cars was going up effective 01st April (as per information received fm Arya Honda) we immediately booked our car and paid the down payment by cheque.
I believe that HDFC bank and Honda have an "AGREEMENT" that few weeks before the costs go up they will hold on to payments and MAKE consumers pay the higher increased price. We submitted all our documents and have got an OK for payment but the cheque is not given to Honda as the photo on the PAN card copy was unclear, I was asked to give a copy of my office ID card which I submitted immdediately. Today after 5days HDFC "AUTHORISED AGENT" called to tell me that the copy is not clear and hence we will have to submit some more documents. WAS THIS MAN BLIND WHEN HE COLLECTED THE DOCUMENTS?? This is definitely cheating.
We got a rude shock of our life when we were informed by Arya Honda that we will now have to pay the increased price as HONDA has stopped manufacturing cars at the old price.
This is a big racket which involves "HONDA CARS , THE DEALERS , HDFC BANK"
I need justice that we get our booked car at the price approved by us. If this is not the case why was the agreement made in March.
HONDA WILL HAVE TO STICK TO THEIR COMMITTMENT AND OFFER THE OLD PRICE TO ALL CONSUMERS WHO HAVE MADE AN AGREEMENT IN MARCH.
