SRM University ,chennai has raised its hostel free from 67000 previous year to 83 thousand this year. It has also increased AC hostel fees to 2 lakh per year. is their any law in india which permits this much hike in fees??? this is completely nonsence. In AC hostels 4 boys like in a single room .it means 8 lakh per year for single room. Non ac hostels have 3 boys in one room, almost 2.5 lakh per year . Please someone suggest how to take legal action against this step?? can i file a PIL?? u can check fee status on srm site
