I had opted for a tour package through himachal tourism offical website & the was contacted by Comfortable Hotels & Resorts(24, Govind Market, Haider Pur, Delhi-110088) Mr. Ravi(Marketing Manager)for providing the service. The way he spoke & promised to give serive, i accpeted their package & paid the advance of rs.5000. Later when we started & reached Shimla, the driver along with the Hotel owner (Hotel Sukh Sagar) started to tell that we will not be able to go anywhere beacuse of snow fall. But when we approached the localites, they said all the vehicles are going & there is no hindrance. The driver also stated to scare that if we go in that way, then the polioce will fine us to an extent of Rs.5k. So they dint show any place in shimla & we had to spend from our pocket extra & hired a local cab. The same incident happened in Manali & it was even more worse that they intentionally travel very slowly , so that the entire day is consumed to travel from one place to another, instead they can reach early as other vehicles & show us the local places. The worst part was when we reahced chandigarh, it was aroung 9pm & the kind of hotels thay had given was not at all suitable for any family members to stay. When this was complained to the representative of Comfortable hotels, he said it is to late to change. So i argued that why should i pay the entire amount of the package when they have not given the entire service as promised. When the next day we wanted to check out, the driver along with the hotel manager, blocked us from going out unless we give the entire amount. The Hotel Manager at chandigarh, vene to an extent threatned that no police can also help us unless we give money. Finally we had to give money & escape from their with the fear of getting attacked. Also since they know that we are from south india & we dont have any contact here, they mis utilise this & harress them. Request the concerned to take serious action on Comfortable Hotels & give us the JUSTICE by refunding our money.
