Bread sans Mfg. date Hello,
I live in Jalandhar, Punjab. The breads sold here of various makes: Bonn, Cremica, etc. almost all the brands have stopped displaying Manufacturing date on the covers.
From what I know, it was Govts. policy that MFG. dates be displayed on every food article but these bread companies have connived together to take the consumer for a ride.
Something concrete needs to be done to stop this malpractice by the bread companies. I think the health department or the concerned authorities are sleeping on this issue.

Yes I have the breads with me, I can also click the pics. of breads from dealers & post.
Clever thing these companies do is they print the Expiry date but Mfg date also has to be printed.
What other proofs could do?
I could collect them!
