Thread: wrong commitments

Hi,

I and my cousin have booked a flat in Maharashtra Police federation co-operative housing society,gaikwad Nagar at malwani colony, malad west,
This project is taken by prism consultancy we have booked our flat in March 2009 and they commited us to give us the flat possession in September at the day of dessera and told that we have to do the stamp duty and registration as per our convenince. we are staying on rent were we have to pay Rs 4000/- till know we have not got the position and know suddenly in Dec mid they have courier us one letter with the description of payment of around 50,000 which include stamp duty,registration,one year advance maintainence of garden and falt which is not yet constructed. from past six moths our loan Emi is getting deduct amount 9,000. For us it is really very tough to manage we have gone to them and told them that we dont have money right know to do the registration is there any other way to do this. then they told that when you have money that time only you will get the position. Is Stamp duty and registration compulsory before getting the position if yes. then can we do from our end instead of doing through them.

There are many members in the buildings who are frustated bcoz of delay in possession and proper response from them. Many of them are staying on rent.
Kindly look into this matter and help me in finding the solution as soon as possible.
