I am an axis bank priority customer for a couple of years already, and made a 1 lac deposit some 6 months before or so through online, and when i recently noticed in my bank statement, it was refunded to my account, without any prior intimation. I was shocked to see this, and wrote online to axis bank, they said they are looking at it, and then no one responded.

The priority bank customer says, that your pan number is missing something like that, a stupid reason. If i m not mistaken, i gave the pan number and then only opened the account, that was a couple of years ago. And again, if pan number is mandatory, why did they accept the fixed deposit online, first of all to my account?!!

Will have to sue them, for the loss of interest and mental stress caused due to these issues.
