I had applied for a Tax savings FD at 8.5% in March 09.i had filled all the forms as required .My account was debited with 19000Rs for the same on 27th March. Suddenly I got to know that on 27/28 April the amount was credited to my account and my FD(tax saving under 80/c) was not made. Enquiring with the bank, they told that they had made me fill the wrong Form which is their fault as they have to give me the correct form and also then why was the money debited in the first case and not debited for one month
I have lost peace of mind and suffered a direct financial loss of Rs 1900(on account of the tax saving i would have got under 80/c).Also my account was debited by 19000 and was debited after one month resulting in loss of internet
i want the bank to bear the consequence .They should be made to pay me 1900Rs (on account of the benefit ,I would have got)+1000Rs on account of mental harassment
