The DD was collected by me from the manager himself.Need only to know the rates of
TDS. The rates in BOI are 10.5 pc on the interest earned.
Please get this clarified .If required this email can be forwarded to the bank manager.

:today i got a dd for rs 129720 only from handni chowk branch as my FD was matured
on 2/3/09 Maturity value was Rs 131544.00 and the difference of Rs 1824.00 was
deducted as TDS.Want clarifications for the rates of TDS at a very early date. The
said account no . is077320002001072.Moreover the branch computer didnt show any TDS.

This is regarding the cheque and the return memo lost/misplaced by the Andhra bank.

I have presented at cheque no. 63077 Dt.17082009 of Indusind bank, banjara hills branch for Rs. 1,00,000/- one lakh only on 17.1.2010 at my account in Andhra bank .

The amount of one lakh has been released to my account on 22.1.2010.

On 25.1.2010, I have fixed deposited the same amount of 1.00.000/- on my name in the same andhra bank branch.

On 12.2.2010 the bank manager has called me up and said that the cheque was not cleared and the account of the related cheque has been closed at their end in indus ind bank.
And the main thing is that the Andhra bank has credited the amount and they have lost the original cheque and the original return memo .
when enquired they simply gave a reply that it has been lost in the transit .


now what should i do.


Now they are forcing me to return back the money with out any information about the cheque and the return memo .
and additional they are advicing me to file a case on the person who had given me the cheque.
