We had been to ICICI Home Finance group which was in the premises of ICICI Bank, Goregaon west. A year before we were offered 10.6% interest rate by ICICI Home Finance group. We were happy to hear that as a Bank would not offer us so much.
My mom is a widow, even i wasnt earning at that time. She had invested almost Rs. 1,00,000/- which were our house money.
Now, after a year we got a letter and a cheque of Rs. 10,600//- which was the interest. We went to the bank for more information. But the home finance group was no where. But the bank officials helped us, to fll the form and submit all the documents related to the FD. Now its been 6months but we havent received our Principal amount. My mom is following up with them but we arent getting any response from their side.
We are told, "we will call you up after 8 days", but no one turns up. Its so unfair! For my mom or any other single women its a huge amount. They(ICICI Bank) give us one answer "we are following up", but since 6 months? I need your help, what best can be done now. The situation is tensed at my home. Kindly suggest.
