Default Pathetic Services of HDFC Branchs & State of Customer Care

I had asked your New Delhi, Kalkaji Branch, to return me the Maturity Value of my FDR due in the 2nd week of April 10

The Original FDR was sent through HDFC Lajpat Nagar Branch and it has been confirmed by the Lajpat Ngr. Br. that the FDR and other papers have been received by the Kalkaji Branch.

Since then NEITHER I have received the Maturity amount nor the branch has the courtesy to call me convey why it is not returning my money or by when they will be returning me the M Value of my FD.

I have already made 3 personal visits to HDFC's Lajpat Nagar Branch. They have also registered the complaint in their register for the same. The Lajpat Ngr branch has also send atleast 5 e-mails to various concerned individuals me to atleast contact me

Also, I am surprised to find out there is no telephone no./email ID of any Branch given on HDFC Website or available in any of its branch, which can be helpful a distressed customer to call the concerned Br. when only the branch is supposed to solve any problem.

Only no. given by HDFC is of IVR which is of no help in these kinds of problems.

When I sent an e-mail to the customer care through its site, I got the reply stating the basic facts of the FD but no remedy. As this was not enough the standard lines have also been sent to me "TO CONTACT BANKING OMBUDSMEN."

I assure HDFC that the same would be used as and when I deem it fit that the time has come to bring HDFC's true state of affairs.

But, I can assure that the grievance solving mechanism of HDFC bank is worse then worst.
