Club Mahindra Membership

My 76 year old father was literally sweet-talked into taking a Club Mahindra white season membership last year by their salesman. He paid a few installments and then understood that the membership is worthless. Being in the white season, he cannot go "when he wants". He was not even aware that there are "AMC" charges every year which keep on increasing. He thought that he just has to pay Rs.2.53 lacs and that's it. Is it right on the part of Club Mahindra to make a 76 year old senior citizen a member for 25 years? He wrote a lot of email and got responses from different people but nothing happened. He had even returned all the membership card and papers back to them but did not even get an acknowledgment. Can we fight the case in consumer court to get a refund?

Dear Ms.Indira,
I had already written to you earlier and my father had also written many mails to Club Mahindra. We gor replies but all non-committal and were told that nothing was refundable.
We have not used the membership even once, my father has also returned all papers, membership card and food coupons (for which we never even got acknowledgement) and we have lost money about 70K. His membership number is 1579351.
I think your salesmen really know how to sell the membership but they never explain all the rules properly and give all wrong picture. Then they give a terms and condition booklet which people don;t read and get in trouble. The salesman gets his incentive, the Club gets its fees and the member keeps wondering what went wrong.

Can I expect a refund for a membership never used??
What is Proportionate refund??
