Pacer Irfan Pathan gave another display of his all-rounder credentials as he helped India post 220/8 against Sri Lanka in the fourth match of the Indian Oil Cup here Wednesday.

Pathan (36 not out) propped up India's score after the middle order batsmen got off to good starts but couldn't score big.

Earlier, Sourav Ganguly (51) passed the 10,000-run mark as he helped himself to a half-century in his comeback match after serving out a four-match ban.

Virender Sehwag (32) showed some signs of return to form while V.V.S. Laxman (22) could not make a big impact, also in his comeback match.

Tillakaratne Dilshan was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers, claiming 4/29 runs in his 10-over spell.
